We are excited and proud to bring you the sixth annual Let the Kids Design Your Ads feature. To facilitate this feature, each class was given a Marketing & Advertising 101 presentation via Microsoft Teams by North Shore News’ features coordinator, Tannis Hendriks. Next, they had to read and consider creative briefs from their assigned advertisers, brainstorm ideas with their classmates, then work on creating their advertisements. The ads printed in this feature were the ones selected by the participating advertisers. To acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of all participating students, we’ve created a video for each class showcasing all of the submissions. Visit nsnews.com and search “Kids Design Your Ads 2022” to read a story about this project and to watch the six videos. We hope you enjoy the creativity of these North and West Vancouver grade 4-7 students. The North Shore News would like to thank the following teachers and their students for their participation: Catherine Dion, École Cedardale Elementary; Julia Mcgaw, Ridgeview Elementary; Catherine Maledy, Gleneagles Ch’axáý Elementary; Diane Ehling, Cove Cliff Elementary; Kerry Smith, Eastview Elementary and Amanda Zayonc, Sherwood Park Elementary.

We wish to also thank our valued advertisers for supporting this fun and educational project.
