The People Have Spoken!

In this, our 25th year hosting the Readers Choice Awards for the North Shore, we are delighted with the level of participation. Even during a year like this one, with COVID-19 on the rampage, we have a record number of more than 6,000 ballots cast. We feel this is truly a representation of the North Shore’s favourites! Not only have we received many more entry ballots, we have also expanded to include 180 categories of businesses and services.

Here on this side of the Lions Gate Bridge, we are blessed with some amazing natural beauty as well as many top-notch dining, shopping and service options, even during COVID-19 times. Many of the merchants here offer exceptional customer service, with products and services to match, with strong safety protocols in place. In our pandemicaffected world, North Shore residents appreciate the extra attention to safety as we go about our days, whether we are picking up our dry cleaning, getting our hair done, or heading out to celebrate a birthday at our family’s favourite ethnic restaurant, or choosing a take-out or delivery option. As such, we’ve designed Readers Choice to encompass 180 categories, including your favourite restaurants, favourite auto service centres, favourite furniture stores, favourite dance studios and more. Simply put, today we celebrate the businesses that really stand out.
