We say we’re fine, even when the truth is we’re ecstatic, exhausted, grateful. Or even freaking out. Every time we just go through the motions, we miss out on the chance to connect for real. In times of crisis we need each other more than ever.
Connecting doesn’t just feel good—it’s good for our mental health.
Leaders in supporting Mental Health
Domestic violence increases under stressful circumstances. For some people right now, home isn’t always a safe place. As we are forced to be more socially isolated, violence can more easily go unnoticed. In fact it is highly likely that current circumstances will increase our demand for our services for some months to come. North Shore Crisis Services Society is here to help.We will continue to be there for women and families who need us.
