Well on her way to driving success, Kimberly already has six wins to her credit after five months as a junior driver. She was recently awarded Intermediate Cadet of the Year and the Wayne Francis Memorial Trophy for Leadership as part of her studies for the National Cer tificate in Equine. Kimberly attributes success to her father, well known harness driver Anthony Butt, who is her greatest role model. She gets motivation from her desire to see women succeed in a once male dominated sport. “Dad used to say that women can’t drive. It was a male sport. So that was an incentive for me to do it. I’ve always looked up to Dad. I wanted to be like him, and also say that girls can do it too,” Kimberly says.
