Now donning the white helmet of Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of the Sheffield brigade, some would say after 43 years as a volunteer firefighter Nev is finally wearing the right colours. “I’ve done a bit of everything. I started off as a firefighter, I’ve been treasurer, secretary and station officer,” Nev said. With the Sheffield brigade being an auxiliary of Darfield until just
