p Dressed in her Lady Sugarbelle character from the 50s, Janelle Reynish along with her daughters, Sofia and Isobella from Dargaville met up with Kelly at the Hukerenui Car Show last Saturday. Janelle’s husband Gordon is her personal photographer, and the family are often seen at such events. “It was so beautiful to see the whole family dressed up and make such a big effort,” says show organiser Roz Dennis. “We had a brilliant day with more than 130 cars turning up. Dressing up like Janelle is a dying art, and we would love to see other ladies in character at the National Street Rod Association Nationals in Paihia on Labour Weekend. There will be all manner of cars on display from across the region, and it will be a great time for families to get in on the fun.”
