The colourful cause supports a message against discrimination and bullying and celebrates diversity in schools and wider society. Pictured here, students of Dargaville Primary School were enthusiastic about the day and its meaning, turning the playground pink to reaffirm that bullying has no place there. The day has grown in popularity both here and overseas since its inception in 2007 and has moved beyond schools into workplaces, charities, sports teams and social clubs.
