As a consequence, his prize was presented by a delegation including Goodhue, who came to Pioneer Rugby Park ready to sign autographs and get in a round of touch rugby with the fans. “It’s good to be back on Pioneer Park,” said Goodhue. “The last time I played here was in a Northland under 14s game some time ago. I love the Northern Wairoa region, and it’s great to see these awesome kids out here with great personalities. They’re footy mad.”
