WELCOME TO THE NSGA INNOVATIONS ARENA Time after time, we hear from companies looking to break into the sporting goods market with limited opportunities to do so.

Last year, NSGA launched its first-ever Innovations Arena, providing companies with a platform to showcase creative concepts in the sporting goods industry. The feedback was extremely positive, and we are happy to present it again this year. The event is dependent upon innovative companies’ interest. Hopefully the interest continues.

New for 2016, the Innovations Arena will be the location for Monday’s lunch, giving attendees the opportunity to grab a bite and walk around at their leisure, providing access to exhibits. NSGA’s Management Conference encourages networking and making lasting connections by interacting with fellow industry leaders and potential business partners.

The Innovations Arena was originally developed with the mindset of quality, not quantity.

Our current thought is to keep the Arena competitive and selective. Applications were submitted by companies from around the U.S. that supply/manufacture sporting goods, accessories, athletic apparel, nutritional supplements and licensed products. Exhibitors were chosen through an application process, vetted for relevance and reviewed by the NSGA Board of Directors.

On a very cold day, you simply place Reddi-Rink on a level area, fill it with 2 or 3 inches of water and let the water freeze. When the water has frozen solid, you peel back the top layer of plastic to reveal a perfect ice surface. It is that simple!

Because Reddi-Rink is fully enclosed, there is no need for repeated flooding to build up a base and no water runoff. It usually takes a little more than one hour to fill a ReddiRink and that’s it! A single Reddi-Rink makes a 10’ x 20’ rink. It’s not unusual, though, for shoppers to buy two or more rinks to make an even larger rink surface. They simply position multiple rinks adjacent to one another. After the rinks have frozen solid and you remove the top layer of plastic, you fill the resulting crevice between rinks with slush or water.
