Honors Program: for academically motivated students, offering a social network along with advising from an honors counselor

Bridges to the STARS: for women and minorities interested in science, math, or technology

How to Apply Step 1: Choose a Program of Study • Before applying, you must choose a program of study from our list of associate degrees & certificate programs. www.northshore.edu • If your goals include transferring to a four-year college, you should research your options through NSCC transfer services.

Step 2: Apply to Your Program You can apply to most NSCC programs online or submit a completed NSCC application (with no application fee required) to the Enrollment & Student Records office, Monday–Wednesday, 8 am–7 pm, and Thursday and Friday, 8 am–5 pm. You must provide a high school transcript and a copy of diploma or GED with your application.

Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid • Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. NSCC school code: 002173.

• The Lynn Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) offers financial aid information and assistance to low-income, first-generation potential college students. For more information, they can be reached at 781-477-2114.

Step 4: Take the Placement Test Computerized Placement Tests in reading, writing, and mathematics are required and offered on a walk-in basis.
