With programs engineered to give you real-world experience, you’ll plug into your education in a way that helps you learn more—and do more, too. • 3D Classroom – A state-of-the-art learning experience that brings subject matter to vivid life through 3D technology. It’s the difference, for instance, between seeing a diagram of the human body versus taking a virtual journey throughout the body’s nerves, veins and arteries. • Cadaver Labs – Nevada State is the only institution in the state of Nevada that allows undergraduates to work in cadaver labs. All told, you’ll find two cadaver labs on each side of the gross anatomy lab, with six cadavers available for study. • NV Energy Finance Lab – Nevada State College business students have access to state-of-the-art tools to help expand their knowledge of the financial markets and gain a new perspective on the day-to-day global nature of monetary environments. • Sundance Film Festival – Visual media students and faculty are regular attendees at this world-class annual film event. • Working Farm – Our campus is home to an integrated agricultural lab where students can learn fieldwork and how to care for vegetable plants, fruit trees and more. Everything we harvest gets served in our very own Scorpion Café.

Study abroad with more than 50 different programs in 28 different countries. Our international study programs are hosted by University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), a leader in cross-cultural educational experiences. Programs are offered in the fall, spring and summer, and every credit you earn is applied to your degree. Nevada State College students have studied in: • Austria • Australia • Costa Rica

• Ghana • Norway

MILLION IN FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS

AWARDED BY NSC IN 2017

When it comes to paying for college, there are plenty of resources available. • Grants & Scholarships – Awarded by Nevada State College, the state and federal government, or private donors. These can be merit-based or need-based. Grants and scholarships do not need to be repaid. • Work-study – Earn money toward your student expenses while working a part-time job, either on campus or out in the community. • Loans – These funds, provided by the federal government or a private lender, must be repaid with interest. • Payment Plan – We offer an option that allows you to make monthly payments with no interest. Transportation can be a significant challenge, too. That’s why we offer free parking on campus, as well as the NSC U-pass, which is a discounted transit pass for students economically priced at $104 per semester or $32.50 per month.
