TheDream.US Updates Point System Scholars must have obtained at least 10 points in order to be in good standing with TheDream.US for the Spring 2021 semester. Points are due on May 7th at 11:59pm. Scholars are able to obtain points by either attending Dreamers Club meetings, CEDI events, or outside events (e.g. community service, volunteering, etc.) as approved by your Scholar Advisor. Typically CEDI events and Dreamers Club meetings are worth 2 points. Proof of attendance is required in order to gain points. Proof must be sent to Nayelli.RicoLopez@nsc.edu. Please refer to the CEDI events calendar on the CEDI Webpage (click here to be redirected) and the Dreamers Club meeting schedule on the next page. If you have questions on the point system or how many points you have, please feel free to reach out to Nayelli.RicoLopez@nsc.edu.

TheDream.US Updates Scholar Advisor Meeting Hold If you have not met with 1) your Academic Advising Advisor and/or 2) your TD.US Scholar Advisor, please reach out and make an appointment with them directly. Students who do not meet with their TD.US Scholar Advisors will not be able to enroll in courses until they meet with them. The same guideline applies for students who are under 60 credits and do not meet with their Academic Advisor. Please meet with your designated Academic Advising Advisor and your TD.US Scholar Advisor, as soon as possible.

TheDream.US Updates Academic Plan Requirement Scholars who are more than an academic year away from graduating must fulfill this requirement: Scholars must create an academic plan by either: 1. Meeting with an Academic Advisor during the months of March and April 2021 (you must complete this option if you are still assigned to meet with an advisor from the Academic Advising Center) 2. Meeting with a Faculty Advisor prior to meeting with your TD.US Scholar Advisor. You will share your academic plan with your Scholar Advisor during your Spring 2021 semester meeting. If you have any questions about this requirement, please reach out to your scholar advisor.

TheDream.US Updates Spring 2021 Enrollment Changes Timeline Once Scholars have had all HOLDs lifted and can enroll in courses for the Fall 2021 semester, it is important to keep the following timeline in mind: May 15 – Scholars must reach out to their designated Scholar Advisor and/or Academic Advisor prior to making any changes to their schedule after this date. That includes changes in: Adding/Dropping Courses Switching/Adding/Dropping any major(s) and/or minor(s) Aug 9 - This is the final week to meet with an advisor to talk about changes. Aug 27 - Last add/drop date· Sept 3 - Last review date before sending over scholars’ schedules to TheDream.US Changes in schedules, majors, and minors are strongly discouraged after this date until funds are received and processed from TheDream.US, as changes may result in an unexpected balance in your student account. If you have any questions regarding this timeline, please reach out to your Scholar Advisor.
