If at any time you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may receive a refund for all unmailed issues. Postage is not refundable.

Orders for Classroom Use

Instructors ordering ten or more issues of a journal for classroom use receive a free desk copy.

Subscriptions & Start Dates

Print subscriptions for individuals will start with the most current issue, unless subscriber specifies otherwise. Membership start and end dates will vary according to membership rules. Print subscriptions for libraries and institutions will start with the first issue of the 2023 volume. Please help us ensure that your subscription is delivered in a timely manner by making sure we always have your current address. To update your delivery information or manage your account, you may phone us at 1.800.548.1784, send us an e-mail to jrnlcirc@jh.edu, or log into your account online by clicking on “My Account” at www.press.jhu.edu/journals. Hopkins Press will try to contact subscribers when an issue is returned due to an undeliverable address. Our obligation to fulfill the subscription ends once six months has passed and we still have not received Subscription & Ordering Information.

Payment Terms

Prepayment is required for shipment. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Johns Hopkins University Press. Hopkins Press also accepts American Express, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard. Payments for orders from outside the United States must be made by checks drawn on U.S. banks payable in U.S. dollars, international money orders, or credit card. Sales tax may be required (no tax on memberships). Canadian residents add 5% Goods and Services Tax [GST #124004946rt].

Individual & Institutional Rates

Subscription rates vary for individuals and institutions. The institutional rate applies to subscriptions ordered or paid for by libraries, schools, academic departments, government agencies, and businesses. The individual rate applies to subscriptions ordered by individuals for personal use and paid for by personal check or credit card.

International Shipping

Subscriptions mailed to addresses outside the United States incur additional postage and handling charges. Please check individual journal listings on the preceding pages for prices. Shipments outside North America are air-freighted to Europe for distribution in the international mails.
