As we go to press there is much concern about the two town hall buildings. Public meeting places are in short supply in the Borough. We cannot afford to lose any. If consultation input is still available, with the many extensions to the process offered, we urge our readers to make their views known. As usual there are concerns about over-development in the borough and anti-parking moves that particularly affect those less able to walk and cycle are highlighted on page 9. We continue to feature Ealing Save our NHS. The good news is that, for the time being, NWL NHS ‘s request for funding to progress their restructuring process has been refused as ‘not credible’. Also, on the plus side, we highlight the Borough’s Orange Bike scheme. In addition, we also urge you to vote in the local elections in May. It is really important there is a good turnout!
