For the 13th year in succession the College’s overall pass rate for A Levels has remained at an amazing 99 percent. Students achieved a remarkable 100 per cent pass rate in 34 A Level subjects, and 45 per cent achieved A* to B grades with a further 74 per cent gaining A* to C grades. On top of this the College has continued to excel with outstanding results in the National/extended Diploma Qualifications. We know that the choice of staying on at sixth form or going to college is a tough one, but as we continue to go from strength to strength, it has never been a better time to join us. Not only do we have excellent results but we now provide one of the widest range of subject choices for A Level and vocational courses in Wales. With interest for apprenticeships on the rise, and the skills gap, especially in construction, set to increase, we have worked with employers to develop a programme of work-based learning within a number of trades. Work-based learning gives you the option to gain recognised qualifications whilst gaining valuable work experience and the opportunity to earn money. We want to prepare you for the next step in your journey to employment or university; with this in mind, we will encourage you to have high inspirations and support you to become versatile individuals, not just academically, but with the many employment skills we develop and the additional activities we provide such as enterprise opportunities, sports academies and performing arts.
