Tennis Townsville has 16 hard courts, all with lights and they can be hired by the public. CARDIO TENNIS
Monday and Tuesday Night You do NOT have to be good at tennis or fit! It doesn’t matter if you have never played tennis before Caters for all fitness levels Men and women welcome Fees: $15 casual session or $100 for 10 consecutive weeks non-member/$80 member Burn calories, increase fitness and have fun in this music-fuelled group workout Session Times: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays - 5.30pm to 6.30pm. OPEN COURT SESSIONS Introducing a new social tennis initiative allowing players of all abilities to ease back into a new format of tennis or to start it for the first time. Wednesday night sessions provide a flexible, self-paced and commitment-free alternative to catching up with friends. Food and drink are included, as well as an upbeat soundtrack to keep everyone smiling and relaxed. Weekly sessions run for 5 weeks Commences Wednesday 12th February 6:30 – 8pm $25 per session

JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAMS
ANZ Tennis Hot Shots and Junior Ace and Skills offer exciting programs for kids aged from 3 years. Using smaller courts, racquets and low-compression balls, learning tennis is easier for new players. These programs allow children to develop technically and tactically in a fun environment, while the blue, red, orange and green stages offer a clear pathway as their skills develop.

NQ JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT SERIES (JDS) TOURNAMENTS
The Junior Development Series (JDS) circuit is held from February to November throughout North Queensland, for aspiring junior tennis players. The JDS was established to provide junior tennis players with an introduction to playing in sanctioned tennis tournaments. Many players beginning at this introductory level go on to play age and open tournament events around Queensland and interstate. JDS tournaments can be entered online at tennisnorth.com.au
