The Paraná State Cooperatives System represents more than 230 affiliated cooperatives and congregates more than five hundred thousand members. It is made up by farmers, credit, educational, infrastructure, labor, transport, leisure and tourism, mineral, transport, housing and health cooperatives. Wire Opera Designed by architect Domingos Bongestabs, the striking Wire Opera House (Ópera de Arame) is a round structure built in steel and covered with transparent polycarbonate. To reach the theater, visitors must cross a bridge over a lake. The opera house is surrounded by lush vegetation and waterfalls in an area that used to be a quarry. It was buit in 75 days and opened in March 18, 1992. Its auditorium has a capacity for 2,1 thousand seated expectators.Espaço Cultural Paulo Leminski, named for a Curitiba poet, is an open-air, 5175-square-foot stage whose acoustics benefit from a 90-foot tall rock wall.
Tangua Park This park was inaugurated in 1996, the Tanguá Park surprises with its beauty as an example of urban space being re-utilized, on one old complex of disactivated quarries, and it is part of the Barigüi river preservation project joining Tingüi and Barigüi parks. This park with an area of 450 thousand square meters has two quarries connected by a 45 meter tunnel that may be crossed on foot by a path over the water. It can be visited on boat or on foot (hiking). The park has a cooper and bicycle track, snack bar, belvedere and Poty Lazzaroto garden.

Botanical Garden The Botanical Garden of Curitiba is also known as the "Jardim Botânico Fanchette Rischbieter". This is a park located in the city of Curitiba, the capital of the state of Paraná, and the biggest city in southern Brazil. It is the major tourist attraction of the city, and it houses part of the campus of the Federal University of Paraná. Opened in 1991, Curitiba's trademark botanical garden was created in the style of French gardens. Once the portal of entry, may be seen extensive gardens in the French style in the midst of fountains, waterfalls and lakes, and the main greenhouse of 458 square meters, which shelters in its interior, copies plants characteristic of tropical regions. It rolls out its carpet of flowers to the visitors right at the entrance. This occupies 240.000 m² in area. The principal greenhouse, in an art nouveau style with a modern metallic structure, resembles the mid-19th century Crystal Palace in London. The Botanic Museum, which provides a national reference collection of native flora, attracts researchers from all over the world. It includes many botanic species from the moist Atlantic Forests of eastern Brazil.

08:00 Farm Visit Traditional property under family administration since 1921 when it was acquired by the great grandmother. She used to buy and sell cattle in the region and to fat the cattle in Tibagi. Today it is under her grandson administration. He is a vet and since he took over the property he has changed some of the area for extensive cattle breeding production to no tillage. In low fertility areas he has implanted a reforestation program. The grain production is for human consumption. In the Summer soybean and corn and white oats, barley and wheat as Winter crops. The grain production residue is used for feeding for ovine and feed lot. He also develops a Rent-a-womb project in partnership with Castrolanda Coop to produce Holstein calves and heifers for the dairy farmers. 10:00

Its contributions to the Brazilian soybean agribusiness, places Embrapa Soybean as a world reference in the development of technologies for tropical areas. Its main contributions are: development of cultivars adapted to low latitudes; pest biological control, integrated pest management; soil management and conservation techniques; among others. Embrapa Soybean is also in charge of the sunflower research program, nationally, and wheat research program, for the State of Paraná, carried out in partnership with Embrapa Wheat (Passo Fundo, RS) and the Agronomic Institute of Paraná (Londrina, PR). Cooperfibra renders services to soybean, corn and crop producers. The cooperative was founded in 2001and it buys inputs and seeds for the members besides selling cotton to the external market. They have grain storage facilities and recently built a cotton yarn plant to aggregate value to the cotton fiber. Campo Verde is known as the “cotton capital in Brazil”.
