Nordic Plastics Group announces merger of two production sites into one, enhancing efficiency and sustainability

Nordic Plastics Group, a leading player in CNC-machined high-tech plastic components, announces a significant strategic move that will drive the company forward in terms of efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. Starting during fall 2023, we will merge our two existing production sites, Trelleborg and Helsingborg into a single, state-of-the-art facility located at Trelleborg. All operations run as usual during this transition.

This merger represents a key milestone in our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring that it remains at the forefront of our industry. By consolidating our production operations, we aim to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance our focus on sustainability.

The merger will bring several benefits, including:

Enhanced Efficiency: Combining our production sites will reduce operational costs, allowing us to allocate resources more effectively and increase production output.

Improved Collaboration: The “all under one roof” at the Trelleborg facility will provide a centralized workspace for our teams, fostering closer collaboration among employees and encouraging cross-functional innovation.

Cutting-Edge Technology: The consolidated facility will be updated with the latest technologies and equipment, enabling us to produce high-quality products more efficiently.

Sustainability: We remain committed to sustainability. The merger will allow us to implement more sustainable practices, reduce our carbon footprint, and achieve our environmental goals.

Enhanced Customer Service: With streamlined operations, we anticipate improved lead times and quicker response to customer demands, ultimately enhancing our customer service.

"This strategic move is a testament to our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth. By merging our production sites into one, we are positioning ourselves to better serve our customers, adapt to changing market dynamics, and continue our legacy of excellence", says CEO Patrick Kaufmann.

The company will commence the integration process immediately, with a dedicated team overseeing the smooth transition of operations. We anticipate that the merged facility will be fully operational by end of 2023.

Nordic Plastics Group invites all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and partners, to join us in this exciting new chapter. We remain dedicated to providing the highest quality products and services while continually striving for excellence.
