ThecodeofconductisanethicalcompassthatmustbefollowedbyallemployeeswithintheNordicPolytechGroup, regardlessofworkplaceortask.ItalsoappliestopeoplewhoareinvolvedintheactivitiesatNordicPolytechGroupvia contractoragreement.
NordicPolytechGroupfollowstheUN'sGlobalCompact,whichisbasedontheUN'sdeclarationofhumanrights,the UN'sconventionagainstcorruption,theInternationalLaborOrganization's(ILO)conventionsonbasicprinciplesand rightsinworkinglife.
NordicPolytechGrouphasdecidedthat:

Wefollowgoodbusinessethics
Wenevertakegiftsandneveroffergifts,benefitsorpaymentsthatmayinfluence,orbeperceivedtoinfluence,the objectivityoftherecipient'sdecisionsorthatviolatelegislationand/orlocalcustoms.
Weavoidsituationswhereloyaltytothecompanymaycomeintoconflictwithpersonalinterests.
Wecomplywithcompetitionlegislationandworkforfaircompetition.
WeensurethatemployeescanraisethealarmaboutsignificantirregularitieswithintheNordicPolytechGroup (whistleblowing)withfullanonymityandwithoutriskofpersonalconsequences.Youcanreportyoursuspicionby sendingane-mailtowhistleblower@npgroup.se.Themessagegoestoarecipientwho,accordingtolaw, guaranteesanonymityandcanfreelyactontheinformationprovidedandensurethataninvestigationisstarted. Whistleblowingmaynotbeusedforgeneraldissatisfactionorthingsthatcanberesolvedindirectcontactwiththe peopleconcerned.Falseallegationswillnotbeacceptedandmayresultindisciplinaryaction.
OurproductionunitsmustbecertifiedaccordingtotheenvironmentalmanagementstandardISO14001:2015. Ourproductionunitsmustbecertifiedaccordingtotheworkenvironmentandenvironmentalmanagement standardISO45001.
AllproductionunitsmustbecertifiedaccordingtotheISO9001:2015qualitysystemaswellasapplicableindustryspecificcertifications.
Weplacesustainabilityrequirementsonoursuppliers.
Weevaluatethesuppliersbeforeandduringourcollaboration.
Weencourageoursupplierstointroducecertification-onlymanagementsystemsforquality,environmentand workingenvironment.
Weregularlymonitorsuppliers'performanceinbusinessethics,socialresponsibilityandsustainability.Iftheydo notmeetourrequirements,thismayresultindemandsforimprovementmeasuresorthecollaborationbeing terminated.
Wecommunicatehonestlyandclearly.
NordicPolytechGroupmustbecharacterizedbyhonestandclearcommunicationwithallstakeholders.Thegoalis topromoteNordicPolytechGroup'soperationsanditscustomersthroughwell-functioningcommunication.
Werespecteachemployee'sfreedomtospeakoutaboutmattersthatconcernthempersonally.Inmattersrelating toNordicPolytechGroup'sbusinessrelationshipsandoperations,however,onlytherespectivecompany managementhastherighttospeakonbehalfofNordicPolytechGroup.AllinquiriesaboutNordicPolytechGroup conditionsandactivitiesmustthereforebereferredtothelocalcompanymanagementorgroupmanagement.
