Code of conduct / Code of conduct Code of Conduct. The code of conduct is an ethical compass that must be followed by all employees within the Nordic Polytech Group, regardless of workplace or task. It also applies to people who are involved in the activities at Nordic Polytech Group via contract or agreement. Nordic Polytech Group follows the UN's Global Compact, which is based on the UN's declaration of human rights, the UN's convention against corruption, the International Labor Organization's (ILO) conventions on basic principles and rights in working life. Nordic Polytech Group has decided that: We respect human rights We treat all people fairly, with dignity and with respect. We support and develop diversity. We do not treat anyone differently based on, for example, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, social background or ethnic origin. We respect all employees' right to organize. We do not harass, threaten or discriminate. We do not accept child labor, illegal labor or forced labor. We have zero vision regarding work accidents and do not compromise on health and safety in the workplace. We work preventively to reduce the risk of accidents and occupational injuries. We offer employees opportunities to develop professional knowledge and skills. We participate in projects and collaborations with industrial networks, schools, colleges, universities, research institutes and the like. We take a neutral position in political matters. Neither the company name nor Nordic Polytech Group's financial resources may be used in political contexts. We follow good business ethics We never take gifts and never offer gifts, benefits or payments that may influence, or be perceived to influence, the objectivity of the recipient's decisions or that violate legislation and/or local customs. We avoid situations where loyalty to the company may come into conflict with personal interests. We comply with competition legislation and work for fair competition. We ensure that employees can raise the alarm about significant irregularities within the Nordic Polytech Group (whistleblowing) with full anonymity and without risk of personal consequences. You can report your suspicion by sending an e-mail to whistleblower@npgroup.se. The message goes to a recipient who, according to law, guarantees anonymity and can freely act on the information provided and ensure that an investigation is started. Whistleblowing may not be used for general dissatisfaction or things that can be resolved in direct contact with the people concerned. False allegations will not be accepted and may result in disciplinary action. Our production units must be certified according to the environmental management standard ISO 14001:2015. Our production units must be certified according to the work environment and environmental management standard ISO 45001. All production units must be certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 quality system as well as applicable industryspecific certifications. We place sustainability requirements on our suppliers. We evaluate the suppliers before and during our collaboration. We encourage our suppliers to introduce certification-only management systems for quality, environment and working environment. We regularly monitor suppliers' performance in business ethics, social responsibility and sustainability. If they do not meet our requirements, this may result in demands for improvement measures or the collaboration being terminated. We communicate honestly and clearly. Nordic Polytech Group must be characterized by honest and clear communication with all stakeholders. The goal is to promote Nordic Polytech Group's operations and its customers through well-functioning communication. We respect each employee's freedom to speak out about matters that concern them personally. In matters relating to Nordic Polytech Group's business relationships and operations, however, only the respective company management has the right to speak on behalf of Nordic Polytech Group. All inquiries about Nordic Polytech Group conditions and activities must therefore be referred to the local company management or group management.
