一場父親期待已久的父子之旅 卻遲遲不見兒子的身影⋯⋯
關於一個絕口不說寂寞的父親，一個在現實 迴圈打轉的兒子，兩人逝去的相聚時光，如 流水般傾瀉而出，在紛亂喧囂的情緒波動 中，激盪心中的無限漣漪。
舞台上巨大的透明箱分隔父子二人，箱外的 父親以獨白與寂寞共舞，兒子則在水箱中， 重複著單調沉默的生活。
箱中不斷流淌的水，如同生命巨大的沉默， 靜靜訴說著兩人錯過的時光。
A father waits for his son to join him in long-anticipated journey together, yet the son never shows up.
The father reluctant to express his loneliness, and the son stuck in the rat race of life - bursting out each and every absence in each other’s life, struggling in tumultuous emotions that ripples in their hearts.
Separated by the huge water tank on the stage, the father outside the tank gets along with loneliness through monologue, while the son repeats a monotonous and silent life inside the tank.
The flowing water in the tank is like the immense silence throughout life, calmly telling their lost time.

每年可以帶一個作品回歌劇院，對我來說是 相當振奮的一件事，因為那代表著臺中的家 人們可以到場看戲。
過去只要有演出，不管在哪裡，老爸總是不 辭千里，開著車帶著老媽一起支持兒子的創 作。 2017 年老爸過世後，老媽方便看戲的地 方離不開臺中地區，這成為我私密的、希望 能把每個作品帶回臺中的強大動力。
《如此美好》無疑也是一個私密的故事，創 作動機單純地從一份思念開始，希望能在父 親離開後，仍能走進他的生命。
2016 年在亞維儂演出，手機因為泛舟泡水徹 底毀滅，在臉書上簡單寫了手機壞掉，無法 即時回覆工作請見諒。結果一回到臺灣，就 看到老爸拿著一支手機站在海關外，一副 「厲害吧！老爸都幫你準備好了。」的賊 笑。

臺灣大學戲劇學研究所碩士，動見体核心藝 術家，臺中國家歌劇院 2017-2018 年駐館藝術 家，作品擅長從敘事文本出發，以原創劇本 及臺灣背景為主要創作核心，反映臺灣當代 文化、人文、精神與社會議題，發展多元深 刻的作品樣貌。編導作品《台北詩人》獲邀 參與 2014 年兩岸小劇場藝術節及 2015 年深圳 城市戲劇節；編導作品《狂起》獲 2017 年曼 谷藝術節最佳劇本、最佳導演、最佳藝術設 計及最佳肢體類演出四項大獎；編劇作品 《病號》獲邀至2019年烏鎮戲劇節演出。

一直到他 2017 年離開，起心動念開始創作 《如此美好》，戲裡面需要幾張八卦山夕陽 的照片，自己沒有車，要上山不容易，就算 上了山，還得遇到天氣狀況極好，才能拍到 理想中的夕陽。不知道哪來的靈感，翻開爸 爸留下的手機相片，好幾張完美的夕陽照片 就在那，任我挑、任我選。
但他還在的時候，我卻總是以寂寞回報他期 待的陪伴。每每他打來想約吃飯，只要跟排 練撞期，我就會以一副沒得商量的態度跟老 爸說 ： 歹 勢 ，工作至上。老爸也會一副沒事 的樣子說：很好，兒子很負責任。此時此刻 的一點點成績，或許，都是用父親的寂寞換 來的吧！
雖然思念不會過去，但我們可以學會相處。
希望這齣戲，也能夠陪伴或許正在思念某個 家人的你/妳。
WANG gained his Master’s degree from the Gradu ate Institute of Drama And Theatre at National Taiwan University and was a former resident artist of National Taichung Theater (2017-2018). He currently works as a theater actor, playwright, and director, and is a principal artist of M.O.V.E. Theatre. His diversified productions depict cultural phenomena of contemporary Taiwan with concerns of modernity, humanity, and social changes. His plays are widely invited to perform overseas, among which are Uncle Poet, The Unnamed, and Kuang Qi. Kuang Qi received four awards at the Bangkok Theatre Festival 2017.

Her works include Gashapon - That City Might Come from Gashapon and The Kitchen , presented by Yinalang Group. She has also collaborated with Guling Street Avant-Garde Theatre, AO Arts Together Studio, Flying Group, Her Lab Space, Body Phase Studio and Oz Theatre Company in stage and props design.
