月，迎向春天，正是萬物復甦的好時節，《歌劇院時刻》這期專訪阮劇團團長汪兆謙，請他聊聊 — 阮劇團 從不被看好的地方劇團，到決心顛覆臺北觀點、建立自有美學，這一路走來的心路歷程，或許可以給想創業的 年輕人一些勇氣；「藝術開場」單元介紹臺中國家歌劇院如何主動將表演藝術帶進校園，讓藝術教育更加貼近 學子。演出票券上的「錄影場」字樣是否會引起好奇眼光？讓歌劇院精靈「小歌」揭密劇院錄影現場！歌劇院 志工 — 「小劇人」是誰呢？這期「歌劇院群像」來解答。

Editor’s preface
March, a time when spring comes, is also a time to make progress and improve ourselves. In this issue, we interview the artistic director of Our Theatre, WANG Jhao-cian, to share how they transformed from an underrated local theater troupe to a popular one that successfully established their own theater aesthetics that is now widely recognized by Taiwan audience. Curtains Up will introduce how the National Taichung Theater proactively brings performing arts into schools, creating more opportunities for students to make connections with arts. When you receive your ticket, do you ever wonder what “Live Recording” means? This time, NTT Fairy sneaks into the theater to find out! Who are the NTT volunteers, the “ Little NTT Giants”? Do you want to know more about them? Portraits of NTT will unveil the secrets for you.
In addition, we have invited Puppets and Its Double Theater to introduce their international partner, Germany figuren theater tübingen, which they’ve worked closely together in the past years for their performance at NTT this April. Curious to know how the oriental and western puppets travel half the globe for the collaboration? Stay tuned to Eye to the World Arts. Meanwhile, we will introduce Marionette in the column of All Aspects on Arts. If you are interested in puppet shows, you should not miss it.

PING Heng will invite 6 professionals to talk about the collaboration between dance and 4 elements in the new series of NTT Salon Talk About Dance . They will guide you to learn about dance from different angles through detailed yet simple explanations, and support with live demonstrations to introduce the features and creative concepts of these classical dance artworks. 2021 Classical Music Lectures Mahler's Symphonic Life
2021 年適逢馬勒逝世 110 週年，古典音樂台《 2021 愛樂人 講堂》特別擴大規模舉行馬勒交響曲系列講座，藉由 10 堂課詳盡介紹馬勒的交響曲創作。呂岱衛老師將以深入 淺出的方式、地毯式解析馬勒交響曲的創作背景與音樂 細節，希望讓更多樂迷能真正聽懂馬勒的音樂、共感他 的體悟，建立屬於自己的馬勒經驗。
2021 is the 110th anniversary of Mahler. For this special occasion, Classical FM 97.7 the “Classical Music Lectures” will host 10 lectures on Mahler's symphonies and his way of composing. LIU Dai-wei will introduce the background of each symphony and analyze all the music details in a simple way, allowing more classical music fans to be able to truly understand Mahler's music, to empathize with Mahler, and finally to build their own “Mahler experience”.

「那是我的詩，那是我的歌，那是我的心。」真如，一 位探索心靈世界多年的修行者。夢蓮花文化藝術基金會， 多年來在臺灣及世界各地演出她創作的讚頌音樂。今年 將由知名小提琴家蘇顯達、指揮王子承，在疫情動盪不 安中，透過真如創作的詩與歌，傳遞一份千古不變的溫 暖。
“They are my poems; they are my songs; they are from the bottom of my heart.” Zhen-ru is a practitioner who has explored the spiritual world for many years. Dream Lotus Culture & Art Foundation has organized performances and concerts to perform her music and songs of praise in Taiwan and around the world for many years. This year, in 2021, when the whole world is still struggling with the COVID-19 epidemic, well-known Violinist SU Shien-ta and Conductor WANG Tzu-cheng will join together to extend the everlasting warmth of the poetry and songs composed by Zhen-ru to people in Taiwan and the world.

找尋著那遺忘旋律的萊卡，卻循著聽到的聲音救了奈美 ， 帶著她回到了暫時的棲身之地：一座擁有猛 獁 象牙標本 的博物館。幸好博物館館長與負責打掃的倫巴都能接納 這新成員。此時，另一位訪客駕著飛行器來到這已經廢 棄了上萬小時的博物館⋯⋯。
Trancing after the lost song, Lycra followed the sound and found Nami. She was brought back to the temporary habitat, a museum with a specimen of mammoth ivory. Fortunately, both the director of the museum and the cleaning worker, Lumba, were willing to accept her as a new member. At the same time, another visitor was flying on an aircraft to the museum which has been abandoned for almost 10,000 hours……

CHEN Jo-yu Savage Beauty Jazz Piano Concert
首位獲選「史坦威國際藝術家」的臺灣旅美爵士鋼琴家陳 若玗，將在 2021 年3月於臺中國家歌劇院與樂迷面對面， 進行一場柔軟與充滿正面力量的紐約爵士鋼琴三重奏音樂 會。她是臺灣有史以來唯一一位爵士鋼琴家列入史坦威名 人堂，成為史坦威國際藝術家，及大中華地區第一位簽約 國際唱片公司索尼音樂的爵士鋼琴家。除了登上美國有 極大迴響的重量級爵士雜誌 Downbeat、Jazziz 及 All about Jazz 外，也受到音樂雜誌《ジャズ批評》深度專訪。
CHEN Jo-yu is the first Taiwanese jazz artist to be signed to a major record label, and has also joined the distinguished international roster of Steinway Artists. She has often been featured in jazz magazines internationally. She received rave reviews in Downbeat, Jazziz, All About Jazz in the US and also appeared in Japanese magazines, such as Jazz Japan as Star of the Month, and Jazz Critique with a 3-page in-depth interview.

U-Theatre River Journey
作品名來自音樂總監黃誌群造訪佛陀故鄉途中，寫下的 詩句：「翻身迴轉，天地『與你共舞』。」流浪的路途 上，嘈雜街頭、恆河河畔、寧靜水田、鸛鳥、盲眼吹笛 人⋯⋯都湧成筆下詩句，成為靈感，進而將詩文入舞、 入樂、入鼓，落為篇章。不安的時代，讓最能安定人心 的優人神鼓，邀您與天與地共舞。
River Journey is inspired by HUANG Chih-chun’s fourth trip to India, the birth place of the Buddah, in 2001. During this journey, HUANG, an actor, drumming Master, composer, choreographer, and Music Director of U-Theatre, wrote many poems, letters to his wife and children and to U-Theatre’s members. His many observations – whether on the street, down by the river, on a crowded train, or even a field in front of a rustic lodge – formed the basis for reflections on the past and future creations. Little by little, these words come to form the core of the poetic River Journey

夜曲， 可謂客居巴黎的蕭邦最私密的心聲。戰亂中離 別 故土，種種懸念縷縷情思，在繁華雲煙中，終究訴情夜色 中無詞的鋼琴之歌，也啟發一代又一代的俄羅斯音樂詩人， 思鄉與愛戀的酸甜苦辣，跨過時代，在鋼琴上開出美麗孤 絕的花朵。鋼琴家顏華容將這場音樂會送給偏愛在音樂裡 獨處、在浩瀚星河中享受孤寂的人。
Chopin took the nocturne to unprecedented artistic level, with his seemingly effortless florid bel canto signature melodies carefully knitted into contrapunctual texture, the nocturnes became gold in the piano music genre and an emblem of individualism. Tchaikovsky admitted that his music had been influenced by Chopin “in spite of myself.” Then the Russians took the torch: Balakirev, Arensky, Rachmaninoff and Scriabin, the nocturnes speaking of more than just lost love but also soul-searching.

0471 特技肢體劇場試圖創造新的肢體展演型態，作品以 純肢體表演為主，強調表演者彼此之間的關係，建構出 獨特優美的畫面。
作品《彼此彼此》運用特技肢體表現創作者表演當下內 在思想及情緒，並在等量的身體間找尋定位，同時也建 立密不可分的緊密關係，形成貌似同體又互相影響的馬 戲表演。創作手法著重於表演者間「關係」的平衡與控 制，企圖在肢體延展和力量控制中探索身體的極限，引 領觀眾思考或想像身體多元性的樣貌。
0471 Acro Physical Theatre is trying to create some new ways of a show through demonstrating pure body languages. It addresses the relationship between the performers to construct unique and graceful scenes.
Duo is applying the acro physical performance to express the mind and emotions of the performers at that moment. Meanwhile, they’re seeking for the position among the balanced weight of the bodies, and build up the inseparable close relationship between them to form a circus show in which people share the same body but interactively influence each other. The focus of the creative skills is on the balance and control of the “relationship” among the performers. They’re attempting to explore the extremes of the body stretches and power control to guide the audience to think or imagine the various appearances of the body.

Singing Singers, a chorus with the idea of "singing for joy, love, and life", was founded in Taichung, Taiwan in September 2013. 1989 年，24 歲即考上西德巴伐利亞廣播交響樂團大提琴首 席；同年聖誕節，眾所矚目的兩德拆除柏林圍牆紀念音樂 會，透過實況轉播，亞洲面孔伴隨著大師伯恩斯坦的指揮 畫面發送全世界，瑞士籍臺裔大提琴家楊文信瞬時引發樂 迷高度關注。此刻疫情當下，楊文信將首度在臺灣舉辦獨 奏音樂會，獻上平和人心、饒富哲思的巴赫無伴奏大提琴 組曲，全本6 首一次演出。
In 1989, YANG Wen-sinn passed the audition of the BRSO in West Germany at the age of 24, and he was immediately appointed as the principal cellist. At the Christmas of the same year, the concert conducted by Leonard Bernstein in commemoration of the Berlin Wall Fall was eagerly anticipated. While Bernstein was conducting, YANG Wen-sinn had attracted classical music fans’ great attention as he was captured by cameras broadcasting live to the world. Now in times of the pandemic, YANG Wen-sinn will make a solo debut of the peaceful and philosophical Bach’s Cello Suites, and the full collection will be presented at a time.

The Apocalypse of Darkness Warfare
《冥戰錄》為韋宗成老師經典代表作，自 2010年開始連載 至今，在臺灣漫畫界深受歡迎，動漫角色熱門投票更是屢 屢居冠，實為最成功的國產漫畫。以韋宗成老師的玄妙奇 幻作品《冥戰錄》作為劇本發想，在原有結構下，加入了 傳統戲劇的元素，在傳統戲曲、地理和時間，以及人間、 神靈界的各種交織故事線，其中不乏觀眾熟悉的地域知識 和民間信仰等；寬廣的文化觸角細節，誓言成就另一齣讓 舊雨新知愛不釋手的玄妙異世界故事。
This performance is an adaptation of a popular Taiwan comic series by WEI Zong-cheng. The comics won the Best Comics for Young People and Best Original Design at the Golden Comic Awards in 2018. It also won the National Institute for Compilation and Translation's Excellent Comics Awards. This opera opens up new horizons for Taiwanese opera, thanks to the comics and performance of Ming Hwa Yuan Arts & Cultural Group. This opera will not only entertain audiences but will also familiarize them with the tradition of Taiwanese folk religion.

In this double bill, pioneering hi-tech choreographer Hiroaki Umeda once again brings his hallmark blend of digital technology and dance to Taiwan.
In Intensional Particle, the trembling Umeda transmits energy within and around him to the screen behind, where lines, lights and figures join in a digital reality of “unstable stability.” In contrast with this solo work, Concurrent Sequence is a collaboration with contemporary and street dancers from Japan and Taiwan, with Umeda developing an original choreographic method to bring out the individuality and strength of each dancer in a trans-cultural, trans-genre common vocabulary

2021 蔡承翰小提琴獨奏會
旅德青年鋼琴家李其叡 2021 年再度回到臺灣，帶來有想 法且不一樣的音樂會。 2019 年北中南巡迴音樂會，結合 前衛服裝設計、大幅藝術作品投影與現場無聲默劇的演 出形式，創新風格讓觀眾留下了深刻印象。本次她嘗試 突破獨奏會與室內樂的劃分，安排兩場音樂會，以「一 、 二、三」漸層堆疊的方式進行，上半場為鋼琴獨奏，下 半場則是鋼琴與低音管的二重奏以及鋼琴、雙簧管、低 音管的三重奏。引領大家感受音樂與聲部的情感關係、 獲得更深更廣的理解。
Germany-based Taiwanese pianist Ellen LEE will be back in Taiwan in 2021 and bring a different concert with innovative ideas. In 2019, the concert toured across North, Central and South Taiwan had combined vanguard design of dresses with the large projections of the artworks in addition to the live performances of mime. Such a creative style left a deep impression to audience. This time, she will try to break the separation between recital and chamber music, so she will arrange two concerts by “one, two, three” stacking in different layers. The first half will be a recital of piano; the second half will be a duet of piano and bassoon as well as trio with piano, oboe and bassoon. The audience will be guided through the melodies to feel the relationship between the music and voice types so everyone will understand the music better and more broadly.

美學大師蔣勳曾說過：「人不愛自己的身體，很難快樂。人不愛自己的身體，也很難愛這個世界。一切的起點，該從愛 自己的身體開始。」跳舞是人的本能，藉由呼吸、覺察、傾聽，有意識地透過課程與自己的身體對話，學習和舞伴以肢 體語言溝通交流，從練習中得到深度的覺察與包容。讓自己專注在每個當下，將發現世界變得更寬廣、更有溫度。後青 年朋友們，擁有穩定的工作、家庭、生活，也是時候開始去追求想要的自我形象並重新愛上自己。
Master of aesthetics, CHIANG Xun, has said, “It’s hard to feel happy if people don’t love their own bodies. If people don’t love their own bodies, it’s difficult to love the world around them. Every beginning shall start from loving our own bodies.” Dancing is an instinct of humans. By means of breathing, feeling and listening, people can learn to talk to their own bodies through taking the courses. They can learn to communicate with their dancing partners through body language. By practicing, they will get deep perceptions and compatibilities so they can concentrate more on each moment and find that the world is broader and warmer. All aging friends, it’s time to start to pursue the self-image you want and love yourself since you have stable job, family and life.

上班族長期坐於電腦前處於緊繃狀態、缺乏活動，歌劇院提供舒壓的管道，透過工作坊讓學員學習如何釋放身體的疲憊 並展現自我。
「身體律動工作坊」從呼吸開啟身體的覺察，運用現代舞的基礎練習，開發自我肢體潛能，透過許嘉卿老師專業舞者的 身體體驗，帶領大家深度瞭解自己的身體。循序漸進的課程安排，讓呼吸帶領身體，以身體感受音樂，找到身體的呼吸 與律動，進而開啟身心美好的對話。
Office workers are always sitting in front of the computer under stress. They lack exercise so NTT provides a way to release stress; students learn how to release the tiredness of the bodies and show themselves through the workshop.
“Performing arts Workshop” leads you to be aware of your body by starting from breathing and the basic practice of modern dance to develop self-body potential. Through the personal experience of Teacher HSU Chia-ching, who is a professional dancer, you will be led to deeply understand your body. The arrangement of the program will guide you step by step to lead your body by breathing and feel the music through your body to find the breathe and rhythms of the body. Moreover, a happy conversation of body and soul will be turned on.

臺灣知名表演藝術團隊 優人神鼓，將於2021年3月13
日至臺中國家歌劇院大劇院演出《與你共舞》，這一齣融合視覺及 聽覺的經典傑作，將以鼓、以舞、以詩樂，帶您踏上壯闊的生命之旅，悠遊於動態靜心的境界。此次共演計畫深入在地，特 別邀請喜愛表演藝術的民眾加入演出，藉由 8 堂肢體、舞蹈、戲劇、律動、靜心與神聖舞蹈等一系列課程訓練 ，汲取優人神 鼓的表演精髓，最後還有機會一同躍上大劇院舞台，與優人一起與天地共舞。
Taiwan’s famous performance art group, U-Theatre, will give a performance titled River Journey at the Grand Theater of National Taichung Theater on March 13th, 2021. This is a classical artwork that fuses the visual and hearing senses together. will take you to walk into a magnificent journey of life, wandering around the dynamic and static realm through drums, dance and lyrics. The performance invites local citizens who love the performing arts to join in the show. After training by a series of eight classes including the lesson on body, dancing, drama, rhythmic movements, calming and Master of Dances etc., all the essence of U-Theatre performance will be extracted and learned by the students. In the end, the students will have the opportunity to take the stage of the Grand Theater to perform with U-Theatre.

In order to cultivate the professional talents of performing arts in central Taiwan, the arts administration program is conducted to enhance the connections between the students and theaters by the guidance of the professional teachers and step by step training courses. The aim is to drive the development of the performing art industry. The arts administration talent cultivation in 2021 NTT Academy program will include the original “professional courses” and “internship,” meanwhile, the “actual practice program” will be planned for students who have related working experiences. Lecturers from the industry or the related fields will be invited to share their experiences through the case study workshops. It’s expected to build up social connections by way of the active involvement of all kinds of groups.

It’s based on the true story of the first female conductor, Antonia Brico, of the New York Philharmonic. The 24-year-old Antonia dreamed of being a conductor. In the 1920s, she pursued her music dream bravely when gender discrimination was common at that time. With an undefeated attitude, she learned from the famous conductor Mengelberg and stepped on the stage of symphony to be the chief conductor of Berliner Philharmoniker at 28 years old. 「音樂」是跨越文化籓籬的媒介，更是能使人投其一生心力的精神糧食！本講座將邀請深耕爵士樂多年的演奏及作曲家 徐崇育，分享他的爵士樂旅程。傳奇小號手迪吉．葛拉斯彼（ Dizzy Gillespie ）曾如此形容：「爵士樂 是場歐洲和聲 與非洲節奏的婚禮！」誕生於美國的爵士樂與來自歐洲的古典樂有什麼淵源？兩者在演奏上的異同為何？在這兩種樂風 中如何取得平衡，是令人玩味的課題，講座中將逐一剖析其中的脈絡與渲染力！ “Music” is the vector across the barriers between different cultures.
