第一幕

ACT 1

故事開始於 1830 年巴黎拉丁區一間破舊的閣

The story happened in 1830 in Quartier Latin of Paris. Four poor artists, the poet Rodolfo, the painter Marcello, the musician Schaunard, and the philosopher Colline, lived together in a dilapidated attic. On Christmas Eve, Marcello and Rodolfo stayed in the attic, suffering hungry and cold. They decided to burn the manuscript of Rodolfo’s play to keep warm. Colline, who had failed to impawn his books, returned home to join the two’s romantic act.

樓上，這裡住著四個貧窮的藝術家：詩人魯道 夫、畫家馬爾切洛、音樂家舒奧納與哲學家柯 林。耶誕夜前夕，在閣樓中飢寒交迫的馬爾切 洛與魯道夫，決定燃燒自己劇本來取暖，出門 典當不成的柯林，回來後加入他們燃燒劇本的 浪漫行為。 正當三幕劇本燃燒殆盡時，舒奧納神氣活現地 領著兩位小童，拿著食物、水酒以及一捆木柴 進門，這正是他為貴族彈了三天琴所換來的報 酬。 有 福 同 享 的 四 人 正 商 量 著 要 到 外 邊 用 餐 時，房東班努瓦突然登門討債，所幸被他們合 力打發走了。還需要趕一篇稿子的魯道夫，讓 其他三人先去餐廳，正當他腸枯思竭之時，住 同棟樓的繡花女咪咪前來借火，當兩人在月光 下摸黑找著咪咪的鑰匙，雙手不經意的碰在一 塊兒，就此展開了兩首經典的詠嘆調〈你那冰 冷的小手〉與〈大家都叫我咪咪〉，第一幕結 束在兩人相偕向餐廳走去的幸福時光。

When they burned three acts of the manuscript, Schaunard entered the attic with two kids, food, wine, and a firewood bundle. This was his pay for playing violin in a row of three days for a patrician.

When the four gentlemen were planning to dine out, the landlord, Benoit, came to collect rent unexpectedly. Fortunately, the four made concerted efforts to show Benoit the door. As Rodolfo still had a script to be finished, he sent his friends to the restaurant first. Just as he was exhausted in writing the script, Mimi, a needlewoman who lived in the same building, came to borrow some candles. When the two searched for Mimi’s key in the dark under the shimmer of moonlight, they touched each other’s hand unintentionally, then started to sing the two classical arias ‘Che gelida manina’ and ‘Si. Mi chiamano Mimi.’ The first act ended as the two walked together to the restaurant merrily.

ACT 2

在熙來攘往的耶誕前夕，藝術家們各自用分得

On Christmas Eve, the street was bustling. The four artists did some shopping. Rodolfo bought a rose bonnet for Mimi. While they were taking orders, Marcello’s previous lover, Musetta, came to the restaurant in stylish clothes with the old parliamentary,, Alcindoro. Musetta, who wanted to parliamentary make up with Marcello, sang ‘Quando m’en vo’ to express her feelings. Later she made an excuse from an aching foot for sending Alcindoro away, and then eagerly fell into Marcellos’ arm after Alcindoro left.

ACT 3

場景來到一間酒館，和好如初的馬爾切洛與穆

This act happened in a tavern. Marcello and Musetta were as good as before. To make a living, Marcello drew advertisements for the inns, while Musetta taught singing lessons. Rodolfo and Mimi, who was seriously ill, came successively to talk with Marcello about their relationship frustration. It seemed that it was Rodolfo’s jealousy and suspicion as well as Mimi’s vanity made them unable to keep their relationship. However, the real cause was the couple was too poor to support Mimi’s medical treatment.

Therefore, Rodolfo proposed to break up, hoping Mimi could find a rich lover to pay for her treatment.

Although both of them agreed, they could not part with each other every time they met. Later, they reached a consensus to live through this severe winter together and split up next spring.

賽塔，分別在此為酒館畫廣告及教授顧客們唱 歌維生，魯道夫與病重的咪咪則先後來找馬爾 切洛訴說兩人的情感危機。表面上似乎是魯道 夫的嫉妒與猜疑，以及咪咪的愛慕虛榮，以致 兩人無法相處；事實上是因為貧窮的兩人實在 無力對抗咪咪孱弱的身體，於是魯道夫提出分 手， 希 望 咪 咪 能 找 個 有 錢 的 情 人 來 醫 治 她 的 病。雖然兩人有分手共識，一旦相見卻又難分 難捨，最終協議先一同度過寒冬，等到春暖花 開之時再分開。 就在此時，馬爾切洛因為看到穆賽塔對客人的 輕浮舉止而醋勁大發，在〈永別了！清晨溫柔 的喚醒〉四重唱中，兩對情侶同時呈現互訴衷 情與相互謾罵兩種完全不同的情緒。

Marcello was jealous when he saw Musetta’s frivolous behavior towards the guests. With the quartette ‘Addio dolce svegliare alla mattina’ the four performed two completely different emotions — one couple conversed with love, while another abused each other.

第四幕

ACT 4

場景回到嚴寒冬日的閣樓上，失去愛人的馬爾

This act happened in the attic where it was bitter cold day. Marcello, who lost his lover, sang ‘O Mimi, tu piu non torni’ together with Rodolfo, expressing their deep miss of old flame. Schaunard and Colline came back to the attic from work with four loaves of bread and some pickled mackerel. However, the four romantic gentlemen still enjoyed the frugal dinner with pleasure, and tried to find amusement through dancing and sword fighting.

切洛與魯道夫一同唱著懷念舊情人的歌〈喔！ 咪咪妳一去不復返〉，從外邊工作回來的舒奧 納與柯林這次只帶回了四條麵包與醃鯖魚，然 而擁有浪漫情懷的四人依然興致高昂地享用， 並以跳舞與鬥劍作樂。 就在此時，穆賽塔突然衝進屋內告知四人，咪 咪已離開供養她的子爵，希望能回到自己所愛 的人身邊，而且已來到門外。眾人讓咪咪躺下 休 息 之 後， 紛 紛 出 門 設 法 典 當 自 己 僅 有 的 財 物，籌錢為咪咪治病。閣樓裡的魯道夫與咪咪， 回顧兩人初識的一言一行，這正是全劇最動人 的場景，而就在大夥兒買了皮手套、請了醫生 回來的時候，咪咪在愛情與友情的溫暖中悄然 離世。

All in a sudden, Musetta rushed in and told the four that Mimi had left the viscount who provided for her, hoping to return to her true love. Meanwhile, Mimi had already arrived. The four made Mimi lie down for a rest, then went out to pawn their bare possessions for Mimi’s medical treatment. Rodolfo and Mimi recalled what they said and did during their first meeting — this was the most moving scene in the opera. After buying leather gloves, the gentlemen came back with a doctor. Unfortunately, Mimi had already passed away in the warmth of love and friends.

荷穆齊賦予的全新觀點與詮釋

浦契尼的四幕歌劇《波希米亞人》改編自亨利．穆傑（Henri Murger）於 1847-1849 年間出版的系列 短篇小說《波希米亞人的生活場景》（Scenes de la Vie de Bohème）。故事發生在 19 世紀中葉的巴黎，但 卻與當代共通，而且相當雋永，這類故事可能發生在任何時間、地點，乃至當今社會。《波希米亞人》 講述一群年輕人不願如父母輩過著中產階級生活，他們離開封閉落後的小鎮，來到首都巴黎，一心 想靠自己打拼成為著名藝術家，並變得富有──在劇本中是巴黎，但如果故事發生在今天，換作柏 林、倫敦、紐約或任何有魅力的大城市都說得通。 若要理解這齣戲，最重要的是看懂劇中四位年輕藝術家：魯道夫、馬爾切洛、舒奧納和柯林都是自 願選擇極簡的生活方式。受過良好教育的他們，本可以像其他資產階級一樣，選擇一份熱門的工作， 但他們卻沒有跟隨主流。四人明知從事藝術事業風險更高──需要投入大量精力，短時間內看不到 金錢回報，但卻甘願為之。他們比一般人更用力生活，活在當下。在前兩幕中，四人每每賺到一筆 錢，就在一夕間揮霍一空，絕不會存起來。四個年輕的男孩順從內心想法，過著波希米亞人的生活， 對未來滿懷憧憬。 劇中的兩個女孩咪咪和穆賽塔家世背景截然不同，由於沒有受過高等教育，她們只能做收入微薄的 工作，甚至與上了年紀的富人交往。四位男主角和兩位女孩處在不同社會階層，他們的交集是短暫 的，不可能永遠持續。原因很簡單也很殘酷，四位男孩確實有成為藝術家的潛力，而女孩們則看不 到未來。 因此，我們決定在這齣戲中強調他們兩群人的差異。我們預設隨著故事情節發展，年輕的魯道夫和 馬爾切洛確實成為成功的藝術家，而女孩們卻被遠遠甩在後面。當劇中人物還足夠年輕時，兩群人 之間的差距相對較小，但隨著時間推移，他們的生活便會漸行漸遠，背道而馳。最後咪咪病重離世， 四位男孩卻無力處理，因為他們之間橫亙著一道太大的鴻溝。 浦契尼講述這個故事時，不僅熟稔運用複雜的情感，且保持最大限度的冷靜和專注。由於《波希米 亞人》的音樂時長不到兩個小時，我們決定另闢蹊徑，連續演完四幕，中途不更換佈景，同時將舞 台表現的重點集中在四位主角身上。我們期望以真實主義（Verismo）來呈現人們的真實生活，因此 避免在舞台上使用虛假的佈景，而劇中人物居住的街道是以空蕩蕩的舞台來呈現，並無其他佈景， 只加入了歌劇中最具代表性的元素：平安夜的飄雪。

Homoki’s La Bohème ── Andreas Homoki Puccini’s opera La Bohème is based on a series of short stories Scenes de la Vie de Bohème Bohème by Henri Murger, published in 1847 - 1849. Although the plot is precisely set in mid-19th century Paris, the narrative is universal and timeless as it may happen anytime and anywhere until today. It is the same old story about young people that reject the petit bourgeois life of their parents and try to live their dream of becoming rich and famous as artists. They leave their narrow-minded small town environment to move to the capital cities of their country – in our piece it is Paris but today it could also be Berlin, London, New York or any other attractive big city.

It is important to understand that the material poverty of our four young artists Rodolfo, Marcello, Schaunard and Colline is self-chosen. Being all well-educated, they could probably have headed for any mainstream bourgeois career – but they made a different choice instead: they deliberately took the much higher risk of an artistic career, which requires a lot of personal commitment and passionate work for no money – at least for the moment. They live their lives a lot more intensely as average people and they live for the moment. We understand this in the first two Acts where they get some money just to spend it all on one night, instead of keeping it for later. The boys live their Bohemian life voluntarily in view of a hopefully glamorous future.

On the other hand, the two girls Mimi and Musetta come from a totally different background. Having no higher education, they have to make their living from badly paid labor or even by enduring the company of elderly, wealthy men. Our four friends and the girls actually belong to different classes of society and their common journey cannot last forever for a simple but cruel reason: the boys do have a potential future as successful artists while the girls do not.

For our production, we have therefore decided to emphasize this difference by assuming that as the piece proceeds, Rodolfo and Marcello indeed become successful young artists, while the girls are left behind. As long as our protagonists are young enough, the difference between the two couples is mercifully diminished but as time and life goes on, their lives get separated slowly but steadily. In the end, our friends remain unable to deal with Mimi’s tragedy, as the distance between their lives has grown too big.

Puccini tells this story not only with an incredible range of emotions but also with maximum of reduction and concentration. As the music of La Bohéme has a total running time of less that two hours we decided to show the opera in a way that allows us to play all four acts without interrupting scene changes and with full focus on our four main protagonists. Following the “Verismo” idea of showing real life people, we got rid of all fake scenery.

Our characters are literally living on the street as our set shows nothing but the empty stage – quoting only the most iconic traditional image of the opera: falling snow on Christmas Eve.

從音樂面向導讀《波希米亞人》：以第一幕綜觀浦契尼的音樂安排 ── 蔡世豪

在浦契尼部部經典的歌劇創作中，《波希米亞人》由於劇情更為貼近人們的生活，成為史上最常被 演出的歌劇之一。當然一部歌劇的成功需要許多因素，吸引人的故事內容與令人動容的詠嘆調都是 不可或缺的，然而精心設計的整體音樂安排始終是最重要的元素。 第一幕有著貫穿全劇的動機，以及最知名的詠嘆調：〈你那冰冷的小手〉（Che gelida manina）與〈大 家都叫我我咪咪〉（Si. Mi chiamano Mimi）。在這兩首詠嘆調中，魯道夫與咪咪分別演繹多種情緒， 因此在一首歌曲中呈現了多樣的音樂性格。這些旋律除了很淺顯的擔任魯道夫與咪咪於其他幕的出 場動機外，同時也以擴張、變形、並置或是連結新的旋律出現在其他三幕之中，這使得全劇音樂更 具有凝聚力。 第一幕開始於一個有點令人緊張，似乎抓不到方向的動機，隨即曇花一現一個短小樂句，並慢慢地 舒緩下來（譜例一），不久魯道夫登場，即唱出一個充滿自信的樂段，這個起始動機與魯道夫的樂 段自此成為舒奧納登場前最重要的旋律與情緒轉換連結，事實上魯道夫的這個樂段即為〈你那冰冷 的小手〉的一部份。

接著是舒奧納出場，由於劇情的關係，舒奧納為這四個貧窮的藝術家帶來生氣，因此浦契尼為舒奧 納寫了一個充滿精神的動機樂句（譜例二），這個動機樂句幾乎出現在舒奧納每次的登場之前，成 為全劇音樂與人物之間最緊密結合的例子。有趣的是，當主人翁們於餐廳買單，發現這一餐竟將舒 奧納於有錢人家彈奏音樂所賺來的錢花個精光時，出現了舒奧納的動機樂句，舒奧納唱出：「怎麼？ 再也沒有錢啦？ 我的寶藏遭了什麼難？」，原先神采飛揚的動機樂句，在此成為一種嘲諷，這驚鴻 一撇的亮點實為浦契尼精心設計的幽默呈現。

•譜例二

〈你那冰冷的小手〉是魯道夫藉著兩人雙手輕輕碰觸後開始的一首情歌，全曲區分為 ABC 三個部份。 首先是娓娓道來的 A，此段落以三段式 ABA’ 寫成。A 段包括「讓我來溫暖你那冰涼的小手」 A1， 以及「現在太黑暗再尋找也是枉然」 A2 （譜例三） 兩個樂句。A2 樂句顯然是整齣歌劇中令人難以 忘懷的片段──首先在 A’ 再現時稍加發展成為此詠嘆調的第一個高潮（B-flat），之後並於第一幕最 終處由兩人以此樂句唱出愛情（Amor）。至於最感人的地方莫過於第四幕咪咪病重後再次唱出「大 家叫我咪咪……為什麼……我不知道……」，而魯道夫以咪咪的旋律回應：「回巢的小燕子在鳴叫」， 然後兩人開始回憶初次見面情景的對唱，直到最後咪咪以魯道夫的樂句唱出 A1：「讓我來溫暖你那 冰涼的小手」此時音樂繼續著 A2 的旋律，咪咪卻停留在被魯道夫握著雙手的那一刻……。另外，咪 咪的最後一段歌唱，感謝著穆賽塔送手套給她，也僅僅使用 A2 這個樂句，並不斷地重複了四次之多， 最後在咪咪唱出「我要睡了」之時，旋律就此中斷懸而未決，這似乎也回應了 A2 樂句第一次出現在 歌詞中也是枉然的意涵。

•譜例三

在〈你那冰冷的小手〉的 A 段之後，是一段如同宣敘調的過門，緊接著即是魯道夫在全劇一開口便 充滿自信的旋律 B。值得玩味的是，這意氣風發的旋律確實適合此詠嘆調中，「我的精神財富超過 百萬」的豪情，而相較於全劇開頭魯道夫唱著此樂段來形容巴黎家家戶戶點燃火爐，家中卻是無柴 可燒的窘境，只能說浦契尼實在是將歌詞天衣無縫地置入這段旋律，也藉此表現在艱難生活條件下 藝術家們依舊擁抱浪漫情懷。緊接著，浦契尼寫出這首詠嘆調中最令人盪氣迴腸的旋律 C，魯道夫 藉由先前的鋪梗與自我介紹後，以詩人的話語告白，在「希望」（speranza）一字中唱出 high C， 隨即情緒急遽轉變地要咪咪說說關於她的事。第一幕，魯道夫與咪咪各自的詠嘆調後進入一段兩人 的二重唱，樂團在此演奏 C 主題的變形，並不斷地翻高三度音進行，魯道夫則隨著此段旋律情緒逐 漸高漲，直到兩人齊聲唱出 C 主題原型時，就此陷入愛情。此外在第三幕魯道夫出場前，有多個主 題交替出現的手法，浦契尼同時以絃樂演奏 C 主題，長笛吹奏 B 主題疊置於上方，然後冷不防地出 現全劇一開始那令人有些緊張的動機（譜例一），接著魯道夫如同第一幕一開口就進入 B 的樂句主 題，只不過這次旋律有些片斷，主要是由樂團完成，在魯道夫以自由速度唱出要與咪咪分手後，音 樂隨即展開新的旋律。 〈大家都叫我咪咪〉是接續著〈你那冰冷的小手〉之後的詠嘆調，再加上第三幕〈你的愛情曾召喚 她來到你的身旁〉（Donde lieta usci al tuo grido d’amore），這兩首咪咪的詠嘆調是開始於相同的動 機 X（譜例四），〈大家都叫我咪咪〉一共出現三次這個短小動機 X，隨即停留在 D 大調的屬和絃 上，作為引子般的功能進入主要歌唱部分：第一次，如同宣敘調的手法，言簡意賅的介紹了咪咪自 己繡花的工作；第二次，進入 D 大調的旋律，樂段 Y 先是隨著歌詞呈現出充滿期待的感覺，期待是 春天與愛情，接著咪咪以夢境與幻想（sogni e chimere）來形容她的期待，此時音樂轉為失落的 B 小 調；第三次，先是一段輕描淡寫的旋律 Z1 敘述著日常，接著是這首詠嘆調最具渲染力的旋律 Z2， 是擁抱早春的陽光與四月的初吻，此時音樂瞬間又回到了 Y，浦契尼以真花與刺繡花的差別在香氣， 滿足了這段兼具期待與失落的旋律。

•譜例四

〈你的愛情曾召喚她來到你的身旁〉則是由樂團演奏動機 X，並以此發展出一個完整的樂段 X，音 樂上相較於前一首詠嘆調顯得激烈許多，咪咪時而說時而唱，與樂團共同成就磅礡的樂段。第一幕 中魯道夫與咪咪於門裡門外的對話：「誰啊？」咪咪回道：「抱歉。」魯道夫驚覺：「是個女人！」， 樂團便隨即演奏出幾近完整的 X 樂段，而這發生在咪咪的初登場，也早於〈大家都叫我咪咪〉一曲， 由此可知浦契尼縝密的音樂安排與彼此之間的關係。咪咪的詠嘆調主題巧妙地在各處現身如：第四 幕穆賽塔在敘述他得知咪咪病重並找尋他的過程，浦契尼先是使用了完整的 Y，之後並加以擴充引 導至一個變形的 Z2，然而又巧妙地瞬間再以 Y 的結束句終結此段落。另一個富有深意的引用則發生 在前述段落，咪咪唱出魯道夫的樂句 A1，而音樂繼續著 A2 旋律的那一刻，以及全劇咪咪最後的一 段歌唱之間，此時咪咪似乎用盡力氣回答著眾人的關心，浦契尼先後破碎地使用了 X、X 與 Y 的片 段，似乎也呈現了咪咪孱弱的身體狀況。 浦契尼以特定的主題與動機勾勒出整部歌劇藍圖，使其展現一致的音樂架構。第一幕與第四幕開始 於相同的動機，且同樣是由馬爾切洛與魯道夫的對話開始，再加上柯林與舒奧納展開四人的對唱。 浦契尼也適時於各幕寫下出色的詠嘆調，例如第二幕穆賽塔的〈當我走在大街上〉（Quando m’en vo），在這首詠嘆調的進行中，浦契尼將馬爾切洛、阿欽多羅與咪咪穿插其中，道出每個人對穆賽 塔的感受，而當這旋律改由馬爾切洛演唱時，動人的旋律伴隨著穆賽塔與阿欽多羅的鬧劇，舞台上 只能用熱鬧非凡來形容。至於最經典各說各話的歌曲莫過於第三幕的結尾〈永別了 ! 清晨溫柔的喚 醒〉（Addio dolce svegliare alla mattina），這首四重唱是來自浦契尼 1888 年應 Paganini 音樂雜誌邀 稿而寫下的一首晨歌《陽光與愛情》（Sole e amore），其間魯道夫與咪咪從決定分手唱到暫時和好， 馬爾切洛與穆賽塔則是在此正式決裂接著謾罵離場。第四幕普契尼則寫下了少見的男聲二重唱〈喔 ! 咪咪妳一去不復返〉（O Mimi, tu piu non torni），馬爾切洛與魯道夫真摯而動人地各自唱著自己的 愛情。這處處充滿巧思的細節，既有著貫穿全劇的動機樂句，又具備豐富多變的音樂內容，這都是 讓《波希米亞人》百年傳唱不墜的原因。

呂紹嘉出身臺灣，為享譽國際樂壇的旅歐名指 揮家。自鋼琴啟蒙，後隨陳秋盛研習指揮，繼 而赴美印第安那大學及維也納國立音樂院深 造。在贏得法國貝桑頌、義大利佩卓地和荷蘭 孔德拉辛三大國際指揮大賽首獎後，展開了他 在 歐 洲 的 指 揮 生 涯。 旅 居 德 國 期 間 先 後 擔 任

Taiwan-born conductor Shao-Chia LÜ studied music in Taipei, later at the Indiana University in Bloomington, USA, and also at Vienna’s College of Music. His training resulted in important first prizes at three renowned international conductor competitions: Besancon (France), Pedrotti (Italy) and Kondrashin (The Netherlands).

Shao-Chia LÜ accepted positions as General Music Director of the Koblenz Theatre (1998-2001),the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie Koblenz (1998-2004), and the Staatsoper Hannover (20012006). He has also been Chief Conductor of the South Denmark Philharmonic from 2014 to 2017.

Shao-Chia LÜ appears regularly as guest conductor at several world-renowned opera houses, including the Hamburger Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper, Frankfurte Oper, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Opera Australia in Sydney and Melbourne and the English National Opera.

Alongside his opera activities, LÜ is equally at home on concert podiums. LÜ has worked frequently with many leading European orchestras, such as the Münchner Philharmoniker, Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, Rundfunksinfonieorchster Berlin and Orchestre National de France. In Asia, LÜ has worked with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, NHK, Seoul Philharmonic, KBS Symphony Orchestra and all the representative orchestras in China.

Shao-Chia LÜ has been Music Director of the National Symphony Orchestra (Taiwan Philharmonic) from 2010 to 2020 and continues to serve as Artistic Advisor of the orchestra.

Homoki made his directorial debut with a production of Die Frau ohne Schatten, Schatten, which received the French Critics’ Prize in 1994.

During his tenure in Komische Oper Berlin, Homoki’s productions included The Bartered Bride, Bride, Eugene Onegin, Onegin, Der Rosenkavalier, Rosenkavalier, The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, Mahagonny, La Bohème, Bohème, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg,, The Cunning Little Vixen and a revival of his Nürnberg acclaimed My Fair Lady.

Lady. Homoki gained international prominence in cooperation with varied theaters, including the Bavarian State Opera, the Hamburg State Opera, the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Aix-en-Provence Festival, and the New National Theatre Tokyo. Under Homoki’s leadership, Komische Oper in Berlin was named “Opera House of the Year” by Opernwelt magazine in 2007.

Since beginning his tenure in Zurich, Homoki has staged acclaimed productions of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk,, Fidelio Mtsensk Fidelio,, Martinů’s Juliette Juliette,, Wozzeck Wozzeck,, I puritani, puritani, Médée and Lehar’s Das Land des Lächelns, Lächelns, Der fliegende Holländer (a co-production with Teatro alla Scala and Norwegian National Opera) , and Lohengrin (a co-production with the Wiener Staatsoper). Tetsu Taoshita is directing in theaters and writing plays. From 2000, he started his career in the theater as a stage director and learned European theater and stage direction under Prof. Dr. Michael Hampe.

Hartmut Meyer studied stage design at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee. In 1981 he began his long-term collaboration with the director Frank Castorf, which led him from Anklam to Basel, Cologne, Munich and the Volksbühne Berlin. His collaboration with Andreas Homoki includes Don Giovanni,, Elektra Giovanni Elektra,, Requiem Requiem,, Die Zauberflöte, Zauberflöte, Il trovatore, trovatore, La Bohéme and The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny at the Komische Oper Berlin, and Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk,, Médée and Power of Destiny at the Zurich Mtsensk Opera House. In addition, he has worked with acclaimed directors such as Ruth Berghaus, Reinhild Hoffmann, Sebastian Baumgarten and more.

田尾下哲 Tetsu Taoshita

In 2003, he joined The New National Theatre, Tokyo and worked as head of house directors (20042009). At the theater, he worked as an assistant and a revival director to Andreas Homoki, Philippe Arlaud, Keith Warner, Sir Jonathan Miller, Hideki Noda, Matthias von Stegmann, Grischa Asagaroff, HansPeter Lehmann and many directors.

In 2009, he made his debut in Europe as a codirector and choreographer of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at the Zurich Opera. In recent years, he has been engaging various works such as musicals, drama and playwright as well as directing opera.

Mechthild Seipel studied fashion design in Berlin and started her work as a costume assistant at the theater of Cologne, Germany. In the following years she was responsible for costume designs all over the world and Andreas Homoki became one of important associates for her work. Their latest projects were La Bohème at the Komische Oper Berlin, and Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk and Power of Destiny at the Zurich Opera House. With the Austrian director Karoline Gruber she realized as coproduction Don Giovanni in Tokyo and Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf, Der Spieler at Staatsoper Wien, and Die Tote Stadt and König Lear at Hamburgische Staatsoper. In addition, she worked with Japanese upcoming director Tomo Sugao such as Turandot and Madama Butterfly for Theater Dortmund.

Franck Evin began his career as a pianist playing for singers at the Café. At that time, he began to take an interest in lighting design then he turned himself to a new area: a combination of music and technique. He has worked in Lyon at the Opera as Chief electrician assistant, where he worked with artists such as Ken Russell and Robert Wilson. Since 1995 he has been artistic director for lightings at the Komische Oper Berlin, and began to work regularly with Harry Kupfer, Andreas Homoki, Barrie Kosky, Calixto Bieito and Hans Neuenfels, gaining exposure on international stages such as Theater La Monnaie, the Paris Opera, the Teatro alla Scala. In 2012, he was nominated lightings director at the Zurich Opera under the direction of Andreas Homoki. In 2006, he received OPUS for the Best Stage Lighting Design for Peter Konwinchny’s Così fan tutte. tutte.

艾希．凡魏，自由指揮家、鋼琴家、作家和主

自幼學習聲樂及鋼琴，2017 年以最高獎學金殊

榮取得美國德州奧斯丁大學歌劇指導博士學位，

長透過單人秀、演講和音樂導聆，將世人所摯

並在此校任教一年。在美期間擔任助理指揮、

愛的藝術傑作濃縮，再詮釋成或長或短的音樂

鋼琴排練、及聲樂指導許多經典歌劇如《法斯

展演。凡魏精通各年代、各流派的音樂，從蒙

特威爾第到華格納、浦契尼，再到現代作曲家，

紹嘉和凱文．埃杜塞。 The freelance conductor, pianist, author and emcee, Ansi Verwey has been called “a force of nature on stage.” Her one-woman shows, musical opera introductions and lectures condense and re-interpret great works of beloved masters to appetizing snacksized or 5-course musical presentations. She is at home in music ranging from Monteverdi through Wagner and Puccini to modern-day composers.

Her approach to musical masterpieces, too often seen and sold as unpalatable, lets her present dusty masterworks to audiences of all ages and inclinations in such a way that one is invited to discover a personal relationship to the planet of opera. Carlo Franci, Gregor Bühl, Yoel Gamzou, Hartmut Keil, Shaochia LÜ and Kevin Edusei are amongst the conductors she has assisted and learnt from.

WU Yu-ju received the Doctor of Musical Arts at University of Texas at Austin in opera coaching in 2017, and spent a year teaching over there as a vocal coach and a rehearsal pianist.

She has perfor med in Austria, Canada, and throughout the United States, serving as pianist for the world premiere of Daron Hagan’s A Woman in Morocco with UT Austin Butler Opera Center, Three Decembers with Memphis Opera. Besides that, she has worked on many operas, such as The Rape of Lucretia,, Gianni Schicchi, Lucretia Schicchi, Falstaff Falstaff,, Hänsel und Gretel, Gretel, Le nozze di Figaro, Figaro, and so on. She also played continuo on a harpsichord for Il Campanello with Memphis Opera, Cosī fan tutte with Butler Opera Center, and Xerxes with Pittsburgh Opera. She served as rehearsal pianist for Turandot at National Kaoshiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuyin) in 2019 and 2020.

Jessica Nuccio was born in Palermo in 1985.

Winner of numerous international awards and opera competitions including the first prize of the First International Singing Competition Simone Alaimo e le sue opere in 2010, the first prize at the International Singing Competition Voci del Mediterraneo in Siracusa and in 2011 the First Prize and the Prize of Critics in the first edition of the International Singing Competition Marcello Giordani. In 2011 she made her debut at Teatro La Fenice in Venice as Violetta in La Traviata, Traviata, with great success of audiences and critics.

She recently sang as Violetta in La Traviata at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, at Palau de les Arts in Valencia, as Musetta in La Bohème at Carlo Felice Genova, Bilbao, Palermo and Venice, as well as Liu in Turandot in Valencia, L’elisir d’amore in Modena and Parma, Rigoletto in Macerata, Seoul, Parma, Verona, Liege and Naples, Il Corsaro in Parma, Carmen in Naples, La Cena delle Beffe at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Otello in Macerata, Lucia di Lammermoor in Munich, and Sonnambula in Rome.

Most recently she toured in Japan with Teatro Verdi di Trieste in October 2019 and sung Mimi at the Maggio Musicale’s production of La Bohème.

Bohème. Her upcoming engagement include touring La Bohème in Japan in June 2021.

林玲慧 LIN Ling-hui 曾就讀義大利布雷夏國立音樂院，師事朱苔麗 教授。2007 年、2011 年以最高成績取得聲樂 與室內樂最高雙文憑。 國內演出包括：2012 年與 NSO 交響樂團錄製 「樂典 08 錢南章」專輯中的《四首原住民藝 術歌曲》入圍第 24 屆金曲獎，於 NSO 跨國歌 劇浦契尼《蝴蝶夫人》飾女主角蝴蝶；2013 年 與 NSO 合作，擔任威爾第《安魂曲》女高音 獨唱；2017 年於國立臺灣交響樂團浦契尼歌劇 音樂會《瑪儂雷斯考》擔任女主角；2019 年於 NSO 歌劇浦契尼《托斯卡》飾托斯卡，並於 衛武營開幕季歌劇《杜蘭朵》飾唱柳兒一角。 現為國立臺北教育大學音樂系專任教授暨系 主任。

LIN Ling-Hui went to Italy in 2000, was admitted to Vocal Music of Conservatorio di Musica di Brescia, and studied with Italy-based Taiwanese soprano CHU Tai-li. LIN continued to study in PhD programs of vocal music and chamber music in the same conservatory, and graduated in summer 2007 with honors. She appeared in the Verona Eximia Forma, an opera workshop, for many years to study the interpretation of operas with opera director Enrico Conforti.

Her important performances includes: recording of Four aboriginal Lieder for Soprano and Orchestra by CHIEN Nan-chang in 2012, nominated for the The Best Concert Award in the 24th Golden Melody Awards; female lead Butterfly in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly by NSO in 2012; soprano solo in Verdi’s Requiem during Taiwan International Festival of Arts in 2013; the Manon Lescaut in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut by NTSO in 2017; Tosca in Puccini's Tosca in the NSO’s 2018 opera production.

黃莉錦 HUANG Li-chin 法國國立巴黎高等音樂院藝術文憑第一獎畢 業，是臺灣第一位獲准入學並於 2008 年取得 該校專業演奏家文憑的聲樂家。自 2018 年起 應聘專任於東吳大學音樂學系。黃莉錦曾獲奇 美藝術獎、國家音樂廳樂壇新秀、2007 年法國 馬賽第十屆聲樂國際大賽評審獎、2008 年西班 牙第四屆 Jaume Aragall 國際聲樂比賽第二名 等獎項。 近年演出包括：2017 年參與卡列拉斯亞洲巡 迴 告 別 演 唱 會 臺 中 場， 與 國 立 臺 灣 交 響 樂 團 （NTSO）演出。2018 年於臺中國家歌劇院與 指揮家水藍合作，演出 NTSO《無悔的愛—— 波希米亞人》歌劇音樂會飾唱穆賽塔；與指揮 家廖國敏合作，演出 NTSO《愛與宿命的終極 試 煉 —— 西 城 故 事 》 飾 唱 瑪 麗 亞。2019 年 受 國家交響樂團之邀，於國家音樂廳與臺中國家 歌劇院，與指揮張尹芳、導演尚米歇爾．克奇 合作，演出《風流寡婦》飾唱法蘭琪娜；2020 年於臺中國家歌劇院與指揮家水藍合作，演出 NTSO《詩歌與戲劇的交輝——仲夏夜之夢》 音樂會。 留歐期間，黃莉錦與音樂經紀公司 Musicaglotz 及 Cédelle 合作，參與法國利摩日劇院、第戎 歌劇院、米盧斯表演廳、聖艾蒂安歌劇院、貝 桑松歌劇院、馬賽歌劇院、波爾多歌劇院、亞 維儂歌劇院、巴黎音樂城等歌劇院製作演出。

Born in Taoyuan, Taiwan, HUANG Li-chin graduated from Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), where she was awarded the first prize with honors in 2006 and the diploma of performance in 2008. She is currently teaching at Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan. HUANG won the Youth Jury Prize at the International Opera Competition in Marseille in 2007, the Prize for youth at National Chiang Kaishek Cultural Center in Taiwan, the 19th and 20th Chimei artistic scholarship and, in 2008, the Second Prize at Jaume Aragall International singing competition in Spain.

HUANG was honored to sing with tenor José Carreras in January 2017 on the occasion of his Farewell Concert in Taichung. She made her stage debut in 2008 at the Dijon Opera House in the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni.

Giovanni. Since then, she has sung numerous roles including mozartian roles such as Servilia in La Clemenza di tito, tito, Frau Herz in Der Shcuspieldirektor,, Aminta in Il re Pastore and Despina in Shcuspieldirektor Cosī fan tutt. tutt. Veronica Granatiero graduated in 2014 with honors at the music conservatory Umberto Giordano in Foggia, Italy. She continued her studies in 2015 under the direction of Dr. Franco Fussi and Dr. Silvia Magnani. Thanks to the guidance of soprano Francesca Patanè, she decided to devote her career to lyric opera and chamber music.

Recently she has performed Carolina in Il Matrimonio Segreto at Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Amore in L’Orfeo di Gluck Semi Concertante at Teatro Verdi di Padova and Amina in La Sonnambula at Teatro delle Muse Franco Corelli di Ancona. Future engagements include among others Nannetta in Falstaff at Teatro Petruzelli di Bari and Juliette in Roméo et Juliette at Theater Magdeburg.

Thanks to her versatility in style during her early years of formation, together with her studies in classical music, she also perfected her skills in jazz and pop. With her extensive versatility in repertoire, she gained many opportunities to work in various performances such as a choral member in the RAI (Italian television program), live duets with internationally acclaimed Italian singers, and performing with renowned Italian actors in the most significant theaters.

In 2016, Granatiero won the first place at both the International Opera Singing Competition Luigi Zanuccoli 2016 and Cengio in Lirica.

CHUNG was born in Seoul and studied singing at the Seoul National University and Berlin’s University of the Arts. He made his professional debut in 1998 as Nemorino (L’elisir (L’elisir d’amore) d’amore) in Seoul. He was a member of Hamburg State Opera’s International Opera Studio (2003 - 2006). He joined Vienna State Opera in 2006 and performed many roles there such as the Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto (Rigoletto),), Alfredo Germont (La Traviata), Traviata), Rodolfo (La (La Bohème), Bohème), Des Grieux (Manon (Manon),), and so on. Danish tenor Adam Frandsen is quickly gaining international attention for a lyric tenor voice that is “shining, effortless, and bursting with energy.” Mr. Frandsen is an alumnus of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, class of 2013.

Recently the artist has performed as Augustin Moser in Meitersinger von Nür nberg at Salzburg Easter Festival, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni with Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor at Opera Hedeland, Alfredo in La Traviata at Danish National Opera, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte in Gothenburg, Alfredo in La Traviata at Kilden Kristiansand, Sir Edgardo di Ravenswood in Lucia di Lammermoor and Rodolfo in La Bohème at Opera Hedeland, Ishmael in Moby Dick at Polish National Opera Teatr Wielki, Duke in Rigoletto with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte,, and Farinelli in the Tivoli Concert Hall Zauberflöte with the Tivoli Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen.

Ethan Vincent holds a master’s degree in vocal performance from Northwestern University. A recent graduate of Philadelphia’s Academy of Vocal Art, he is the Second Prize Winner of the 2019 Nicola Martinucci Competition in Lucca, Italy. Hailed as “a rising star” (Philadelphia (Philadelphia Inquirer), Inquirer), American baritone Vincent is rapidly gaining recognition as a versatile artist with a “robust baritone voice and compelling stage presence” (Chicago (Chicago Tribune).

Last season, he made his house debut at Opera Philadelphia in Madama Butterfly and his role debut as Belcore in L’elisir d’amore at Indianapolis Opera. He also joined Lyric Opera of Chicago to cover Count Tomsky in The Queen of Spades.

Baritone CHAO Fang-hao obtained his bachelor’s degree in Taipei with Prof. Ren Rong, and subsequently obtained his highest performance degree at the University of Music “Franz Liszt” in Weimar, Germany where he studied under Prof.

Hans-Joachim Beyer. He won various international prizes notably the 2nd prize in the competition “Three centuries of classic romance” in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since 2010, he has made his appearance in numerous theatrical performances in Germany where he played the role Guglielmo in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with Jena Philharmonic. He also appeared as Uncle Fritz in Burkhard’s Fireworks at Eisenach State Theatre, sang the role Frullo in Wacky Dido at Theater Bad Lauchstädt, the role Geronimo in Il Matrimonio Segreto at Theater Nordhausen with Nordhausen Orchestra in 2013, Belcore in L’elisir d’amore with Weimar Music Academy Orchestra in 2014. In Taiwan, he sang Marcello in Puccini’s La Bohème in 2015 and Guglielmo in Mozart’s Così fan tutte in 2016. In June 2017, he performed as Valentin in Gounod’s Faust at National Taichung Theater. In July 2017, he took part in Puccini's opera Il Trittico and as Marco in Gianni Schicchi.

In February 2018, he sang the role Guglielmo again in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra. At Kaohsiung Spring Art Festival in June 2018, he played the musician Schaunard in Puccini’s La Bohème.

Graduated from the Bachelor degree in Biotechnology from Kaohsiung Medical University, the Master program in Voice at Tunghai University, where YEH Chan-yu studied with Dr. HSU Yi-lin and CHENG Cheng-fang. He cooperated with Natioanl Symphony Orchestra, National Taichung Theater, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, NTCH Opera studio and Taipei Philharmonic Chorus.

Bass Julian Lo studied and obtained his Master degree in Music at Soochow University, Taiwan. He was the first-prize winner of Japan Performers Association’s Operatic Aria Competition, and was awarded Best Young Singer of the Year at the same time. He was then immediately accepted as a member of the Fujiwara Opera Company & The Japan Opera Foundation. Since then, he has been performing more than 30 principle roles in many opera productions, and is recognized as one of the best bass singers in the country. LO was highly praised for his deep velvety voice and strong presence on stage. He was invited to perform with by orchestras such as National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Taiwan Philhar monic, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo City Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Arakawa City Symphony Orchestra, Japan Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra, to name a few.

國家交響樂團 National Symphony Orchestra 於 1986 年為建立一個指標級交響樂團而投下的希望，2005 年起成為駐國家音樂廳團隊，2014 年 4 月起改隸國家表演藝術中心，目前已成為頂尖的亞洲樂團。樂團歷任音樂總監 / 藝術顧問包括許常 惠、張大勝、林望傑、簡文彬、赫比希以及呂紹嘉。近 30 年來與 NSO 合作過的知名指揮家有馬捷爾、 巴夏、潘德瑞茨基、史瓦茲、羅斯楚波維奇、柯米希奧納、史拉特金、馬利納爵士等。除了精緻音 樂會，NSO 也製作大型歌劇，更以各種推廣講座音樂會、節慶或戶外音樂會，使 NSO 的節目成為 愛樂大眾樂於參與的活動，形成華人地區古典音樂的新風貌。

Founded in 1986, Taiwan Philharmonic has been the resident orchestra of the National Concert Hall, and an artistic affiliate of the National Performing Arts Center in April 2014. The orchestra has benefited from the leadership of many music directors and principal conductors, including Gerard Akoka, Urs Schneider, HSU Tsang-houei, CHANG Da-shen, LING Jahja, CHIEN Wen-pin, Güther Herbig and Shao-Chia LÜ. Taiwan Philharmonic works regularly with internationally acclaimed musicians, including Lorin Maazel, K. Penderecki, Rudolf Barshai, LIM Kek-Tjiang, G. Schwarz, Uri Mayer, Joseph Silverstein, Leonard Slatkin, Christopher Hogwood, Christopher Poppen and many others. Tour performances were also regularly offered throughout Taiwan and in overseas, in places such as Vienna, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sapporo, Tokyo, Yokohama, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Costa Mesa, and Vancouver.

兒童合唱指導 Children’s Chorus Master

2008 年以第一名成績畢業於美國西敏合唱音樂

現就讀於國立臺中教育大學音樂研究所，主修

學院合唱指揮研究所。回國後擔任台中室內合

聲樂，師事王秋雯、李秀芬、莊敏仁及洪宜德

唱團藝術總監，帶領團隊於 2014 年榮獲第三

教授。2013 年與志同道合夥伴共同創立中部合

屆「金藝獎」；2019 年參加第 35 屆寶塚國際

唱中心，致力於合唱音樂活動推廣、合唱指揮

室內合唱大賽，榮獲「文藝復興與巴洛克組」

技巧、兒童創意音樂課程以及兒童阿卡貝拉課

和「當代組」雙料金獎；2020 年榮獲「TAIWAN

程教學研發。曾多次接受國際合唱指揮與作曲

TOP 演藝團隊」殊榮。多次受邀擔任國家交

家 的 指 導 如 Jennifer Tham、Sanna Valvanne、

響樂團、國立臺灣交響樂團、臺中國家歌劇院

Zechariah Goh 等，學習多元教學技巧，融入兒

合唱指導。

童合唱教學，同時積極推動偏鄉音樂教育推廣。

林欣儀 LIN Hsin-i

音 樂 節 奏 研 究 學 會 顧 問， 並 任 教 於 國 立 清 華 大學音樂系。 YANG I-chen earned a Master of Music in Choral Conducting with distinction from Westminster Choir College in USA, and undergraduate degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from National Taichung University of Education in Taiwan. During her studied in Westminster Choir College, YANG was the assistant conductor of the Westminster Choir and had collaborated with the world’s leading orchestras, including The New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Spoleto Festival Orchestra, and The Lucerne Festival Orchestra.

She now enthusiastically dedicates herself to the development of choral music education in remote areas of Taiwan, and devotes to innovation and change in the choral art education.

Currently majoring in vocal music in the Master Program in Department of Music, National Taichung University of Education. In 2013, Lin jointly founded Taiwan Central Choral Center, which committed to the promotion of choral and music activities. The Center has developed chorus conducting skills lessons, children’s creative music lessons and children’s A Cappella lessons. She receive instructions by chorus conductors and composers worldwide, including Jennifer Tham, Sanna Valvanne, and Zechariah Goh, from whom Lin has learned different teaching skills. She integrates the skills into children’s choral learning, and actively promotes in music education in rural areas. Lin is currently the head and instructor of Taichung Children’s Choir, the lead singer of Golden Lava A Cappella Group, and the instructor for choruses in many elementary schools in central Taiwan.

NTT 歌劇合唱團 NTT Choir 為培育人才、拓展臺中在地連結，NTT 歌劇合唱團由臺中國家歌劇院於 2020 年以公開甄選方式組 成。以培養歌劇院年度歌劇製作之合唱演出人才為目標，搭配戲劇肢體及音樂演唱雙軌訓練，為團 員創造站上專業歌劇舞台、參與跨國歌劇製作的機會。《波希米亞人》為 NTT 歌劇合唱團首次登場， 未來除歌劇製作外，更將規劃參與歌劇院之音樂會演出，累積豐富多元的演出經驗。 To cultivate talents and develop NTT’s local connections in Taichung, NTT Choir was established by National Taichung Theater in 2020 through open audition. Intending to train stable cooperative choir members for NTT annual opera productions, the Choir offers body language and singing sessions, and creates opportunities for members to participate in professional opera performances and international opera productions. La Bohème is the Choir’s debut. In addition to opera production, the Choir plans to participate in NTT’s concerts, expecting to build up rich and diverse performance experiences.

台中少年兒童合唱團 Taichung Children’s Choir 台中少年兒童合唱團成立於 2015 年，是臺灣中部規模最大、專業的少兒合唱團，以提供「優良的合 唱藝術學習環境，培養學生美育概念」為目標。2018 年成立台中少兒阿卡人聲樂團，為中部唯一少 兒人聲樂團。演出經歷包括 2017 年受邀臺中花都藝術季演出、2018 年於臺中國家歌劇院中劇院《大 地之歌 ‧ 傾聽城市的聲音》聯演、2019 年與台南人劇團合作演出臺中國家歌劇院中劇院《愛的落幕》、 2020 年受邀演出臺中國家歌劇院製作之浦契尼歌劇《波希米亞人》。未來將持續兒童合唱的紮根與 推廣，結合創意音樂訓練，用豐富的音樂藝術陪伴孩子們成長。 Taichung Children’s Choir (TCHC) was founded in 2015 with the goals of providing a favorable learning environment for choral music and cultivating children’s aesthetics. It is the largest and most professional children’s choir in central Taiwan. In 2018, Taichung Children’s A cappella Vocal Band was founded, and it was the only a cappella vocal band for children in central Taiwan. TCHC has accumulated extensive performing experiences, including in 2018 it performed in Sound Sound of Taiwan Land in collaboration with Taichung Chamber Choir at National Taichung Theater, in 2019 sang in clôture de lamour in collaboration with Tainaner Ensemble at National Taichung Theater, and in 2020 took part in National Taichung Theater’s La Bohème.

Bohème. In the future, TCHC will continue the education and promotion of children’s choir. With combination of creative music training, TCHC pursues to accompany young singers to experience the beauty of music and sing with joy.

Acrodynamic presents acrobatics that stretch space to beyond all limits, while showcasing the beauty of contemporary acrobatic arts. Founded in May 2005, Acrodynamic is one of the rare professional acrobatics troupes. Choreography instructor TSAI Li-hua was the first Artistic Director. The current Executive Director is WEN Che-wei, creator of professional acrobatic performances and dance productions.

Wugi Troupe, based in Taichung, is run by librettist and director CHENG Tzu-yung. This troupe combines traditional drum parade, dance, martial arts and folk elements with modern Chinese and Western performing arts to create performances that showcase Taiwanese culture.

Acrodynamic excels at combining traditional folk elements with Western performing arts to create new styles of theater, magic acts, choreography, and Chinese martial arts. Acrodynamic has performed at many largescale events such as the 21st Summer Deaflympics (Taipei, 2009), 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition, and Huashan Living Arts Festival 2010. In addition, Acrodynamic was invited to perform annually at the Taiwan Lantern Festival from 2011 to 2015. Acrodynamic creates exceptionally original productions and trains new generations of acrobats.

Wugi Troupe has performed at several large scale events including the Yosakoi Soran Festival in Japan in 2012 (where the troupe won the “most popular performance” award), for National Day guests at the official residence of the President of the Republic of China in 2014, and at the Macau Arts Festival 2016 with Ambush from Ten Sides (performed by CHAO Tun-i).
