編輯室的話
蟬聲唧唧，來自盛夏的樂音，彷彿催人走進童年記憶，跟隨本期三位藝術家的啟蒙追憶，一起回到充滿好奇、打開想像 之窗的魔幻時刻。
跟著爺爺聽說書、爸爸哼唱平劇，為作家黃春明在童年種下了戲劇的種籽，從中學開始就是舞台劇劇本創作家；小學六 年級看了「日本飛行船劇團」的驚艷，為無獨有偶劇團團長鄭嘉音點燃「偶」像情懷的火苗；以《漢聲小百科》餵養長 大的魏少君， 則成了關心生態與動物的斜槓紙刻藝術家。
舞台上精彩作品是視覺與聽覺交織的感官饗宴，在好樣 VVG 主廚的演繹下，讓人的味蕾與嗅覺也大開想像。且跟著《歌 劇院時刻》走進生活，閱讀藝術與人文的美好況味。
Editor’s Preface
The chirping of cicadas and the melodies of midsummer call us back to our childhood. As we follow the early recollections of three artists in this issue, we are taken back to that curious, magical moment in our lives where the window of our imagination is opened once more.
As a child, HUANG Chun-ming enjoyed Ping opera with his father and listened to literature with his grandfather. These experiences sowed the writer's interest in drama and urged him to compose theater screenplays ever since junior high. CHENG Chia-ying discovered her enthusiasm for puppetry in the sixth grade of elementary school after witnessing the magnificent performance of the "Hikosen Theater Company." She is currently the director of her own puppet troupe, Puppet & Its Double. WEI Shao-jun, who was raised on the "Hansheng Encyclopedia," is a passionate paper carver who cares about the environment and animals.
The exquisite works on stage are a feast for the eyes and ears, and our taste buds and sense of smell are also elevated to new heights under the skilled VVG chefs. Learn about the fantastic state of the arts and humanities by following this issue of the "NTT Program Guide."

Chung Yufeng: Pendulum
《擺度之外》由琵琶演奏家鍾玉鳳主創，透過原創作曲 串接世界多元的音樂語彙，也與不同文化背景的臺灣音 樂家相互激盪，並盛邀重量級音樂家雲力思跨界發聲。
鍾玉鳳的音樂美學，不同於國樂交響化、唱片工業刻板 的抒情樣貌，在保存與背離古典的過程中，繼續她在音 樂裡精準與自由的追尋。
For this performance, entitled Pendulum, Chung Yufeng presents a program of original compositions, accompanied by a cadre of Taiwanese musicians of diverse musical and cultural backgrounds, including a special guest, the Atayal singer and musician Inka Mbing.The compositions of Pendulum reflect this quest, as well as her desire to explore her instrument outside of the common contexts of the traditional Chinese music orchestra or the pop music world. The result is music that strikes a fresh balance between the traditional and the contemporary – a music that relishes encounters with new vocabularies – and ultimately o ers a renewed sense of freedom.

貝多芬從耳疾絕望中奮起，在藝術中找尋自由，後世總 以其音樂或表彰或紀念巨人的奮鬥過程，尤以《命運》 交響曲為甚。同場並邀請國際傑出中提琴家保羅・紐鮑 爾（Paul Neubauer）與音樂總監胡乃元共演莫札特《交響 協奏曲》，並以其始與終都在 c 小調上的《慢板與賦格》 揭開音樂會，用以呼應同調性，卻終於光明勝利的《命 運》。

《仲夏夜汁夢》
A Mid-Summer Night’s EROTIC Dream
《仲夏夜汁夢》是台南人劇團「莎士比亞音樂劇」的二 部曲，主創團隊⸺導演呂柏伸、作曲柯智豪、編劇暨 作詞趙啟運與編舞蘇威嘉，繼《第十二夜》之後，再度 聯手創作的全新莎翁音樂劇，企圖以當代性別光譜和情 慾流動的角度，重新翻轉改寫莎翁經典浪漫愛情喜劇， 為此，在這個音樂劇版本，原著當中不少主要角色都被 改設定為 LGBTQ 的人物，目的是讓這些邊緣人物發聲， 讓他們的情慾有機會現身，藉以打破長久以來人們對於 性別和情慾的刻板印象。
A Mid-Summer Night's EROTIC Dream is the second production of Tainaner Ensemble's Shakespearean Musical Project, conceived by the artistic director LU Po-shen, the composer Blaire KO and the playwright CHAO Chi-yun as a way to open up/take a different look into what most consider to be Shakespeare's plays – using songs, dance, contemporary language and re-written text.

集結不同世代的舞者，與樂齡素人等 16 位表演者同台； 透過舞蹈肢體，和各自生命故事相互輝映，呈現了「時 間」對於生理、心理的影響，憑藉難以言說的生命經驗， 一一傾訴不易察覺的感受。
同時，藉由梳理跨世代的共處關係，營造既寫實又荒謬 的氛圍，交織出面臨各種人生處境，總會不經意流露的 一絲傷感。
Together a total of 16 professional dancers and retired movers will take the stage to put meaning to the idea of "time" through the expression of the body, individual stories, and dance. Delivering through their physicality what is impossible to say through mere words about the totality of the experiences that life contains. ese performers will one by one encapsulate the sensation of the passage of time which is impossible to perceive inside ourselves. Through the discovery of what it means to relate across generations, from the realistic to the preposterous, the artists will articulate through motion what it means to face the interwoven difficulties and joys of every nuanced life experience and help us to stumble upon the sentimentality deep inside ourselves.

今年正逢動物狂歡節首演 100 週年！點子王張正傑這次 要以臺灣版的動物狂歡節跟聖桑一較高下！正傑叔叔集 合小朋友喜愛又熟悉的動物童謠，如小毛驢、兩隻老虎、 小蜜蜂等等！現場大小朋友可以欣賞由西洋古典樂器演 奏的童謠散發出溫暖又充滿童趣的韻味，還可以一起跟 著唱，大朋友回味童年的歡笑，小朋友可以聽聽由樂器 演奏出來的動物，又是如何得唯妙唯肖。
This year marks the 100 th anniversary of the Carnival of the Animals premiere! Idea King ZHANG Zheng-gjie is going to compete with Saint-Saëns this time with the Taiwanese version of the animal carnival! Uncle Zheng-gjie collects animal nursery rhymes that children love and are familiar with, such as A Little Donkey, Two Tigers, A Little Bee and more!

今年正逢動物狂歡節首演 100 週年！點子王張正傑這次 要以臺灣版的動物狂歡節跟聖桑一較高下！正傑叔叔集 合小朋友喜愛又熟悉的動物童謠，如小毛驢、兩隻老虎、 小蜜蜂等等！現場大小朋友可以欣賞由西洋古典樂器演 奏的童謠散發出溫暖又充滿童趣的韻味，還可以一起跟 著唱，大朋友回味童年的歡笑，小朋友可以聽聽由樂器 演奏出來的動物，又是如何得唯妙唯肖。
This year marks the 100 th anniversary of the Carnival of the Animals premiere! Idea King ZHANG Zheng-gjie is going to compete with Saint-Saëns this time with the Taiwanese version of the animal carnival! Uncle Zheng-gjie collects animal nursery rhymes that children love and are familiar with, such as A Little Donkey, Two Tigers, A Little Bee and more!

系列 I 始於莫札特最後一首室內樂作品，布拉姆斯鋼琴 四重奏與馬替努三首牧歌，三位作曲家雖來自德奧傳統， 但此次選擇的作品亦能窺見其不按牌理的狂野。

聚焦西方音樂沙龍文化，從蕭邦大提琴奏鳴曲的 浮光掠影，弗朗賽的幽默靈動至佛瑞的似真似幻，是追 憶上世紀「完美，迷人」的似水年華。
Series I starts with Mozart. Later, Brahms opened up possibilities of structures and tonality by laying the foundation on conventional skills, and Martinů’ s three madrigals that were inspired by Mozart’ s duets. Series II focuses on the music salon culture emerging from the 19th century. From Chopin, Françaix to Fauré, they are presented in search of the perfect, charming lost time from the last century.

《Fusion of Old and New》融合東、西方一百多年前至今 多首經典的曲目！涵括臺灣民謠、知名古典曲目及多首 耳熟能詳影視主題曲的改編，有別於以往演出大編制古 典音樂為主，本次將以圍繞於觀眾日常耳熟能詳的樂曲， 藉由不同風格的編曲及多種曲風的融合，讓視聽感受煥 然一新！
Fusion of Old and New, as the name suggests, juxtaposes East and West, new and old; it brings the classic songs from the last one hundred years together, including Taiwanese folk songs, classic songs, and theme songs familiar to all. Di erent from past performances of the musical group, in which it performed larger pieces of classical music, this performance has the group playing songs in everyone’ s repertoire, giving the audience a radically new musical feeling through di erent styles and arrangements.

宮崎駿的動畫一直伴隨著大家成長，在精彩動畫背後， 一首首時而浪漫、時而溫馨、時而詼諧、時而壯闊的配 樂，賦予動畫更多色彩與風味。而這些扣人心弦的樂音， 即是出自於知名配樂大師⸺久石讓之手。這場音樂會， 「狂美」從日本原裝進口精選的編曲版本，渴望精采呈 現宮崎駿與久石讓歷年合作的經典動畫，並由電影明 星⸺楊小黎導聆本場節目。在優美樂音中，重溫初次 接觸宮崎駿動畫時的興奮與感動。
Hayao Miyazaki’ s animations have always been with everyone’ s growth. Behind the wonderful animations,there are some songs that are sometimes romantic, ometimes warm, sometimes humorous, and sometimes magni cent soundtracks, which give the animation more color and avor. For this concert, the Orchestra specially imported selected arrangements from Japan, eager to present the classic animation of Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi's collaboration, and hosted by the movie star YANG Shao-li who grew up with us.With beautiful music, I look forward to relive the excitement and touch of your rst contact with Hayao Miyazaki animation.

KO Jung-hsuan, Assistant Principal Cellist of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. She and her pianist Evan WONG, silver medalist and audience prize of the 6th Sendai International Competition, met at e Juilliard School and have worked with each other for ten years. ey will be performing a varied program of works by Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin and Brahms, highlighting some of the masters of the Romantic tradition.

飛陽樂團透過臺灣鄉土民謠與原創音樂，譜出一個給孩 子的原創奇幻故事。用不同樂器的特色演出故事中的角 色，以童謠《天黑黑》的歌詞作為故事發想，結合東西 方樂器，融合不同的音樂元素，並將插畫透過投影，引 領觀眾進入魔法精靈的世界，一同感受爺爺奶奶在田野 間的生活。透過說書人生動的帶領，讓各個年齡層的觀 眾一同感受一場耳目一新、老少咸宜的音樂故事饗宴。
Sunrise Ensemble tells fantasy stories of our parent’ s childhood for children through Taiwanese folk songs and the band's original music. The band specialises in performing the story characters by making good use of the sound characteristics of different instruments. Based on the lyrics of a Chinese nursery rhyme Dark Cloud , the band writes a story about the last Taiwanese generation lifestyle. By combining Eastern and Western instruments, integrating various musical elements and projecting illustrations, the band brings the experience of grandparents' eld life of fairyland to the audience. Through the story teller's vivid descriptions, audience of all ages will enjoy a refreshing feast of musical story that are suitable for families.

During the late 19th c. and the 20th c., 2 outstanding British violists, Tertis and Primrose were deeply attracted by the warm and beautiful sound of the viola. They were devoted to facilitating the solo Va performance. Consequently, a series of British Va works were created. 「爸爸媽媽真的在彩虹橋的那邊嗎？」 親愛愛樂全新製作《Lawa 的彩虹橋》，用音樂編織出戲 劇畫面，音樂描述主角 Lawa 因為祖母 Yaki 生病了，決定 鼓起勇氣走進魔鬼森林尋找生命之泉，展開一連串冒險， 也慢慢地從孩子的單純懵懂，長出無比的勇敢與真誠。
《Lawa 的彩虹橋》充滿魔幻冒險風格，樂團在現實虛幻 之間與觀眾互動，引領台下參與 Lawa 的冒險旅程，體會 獨自面對困難並逐漸醒悟的人生旅程。這場旅程會隨年 齡轉變有著不同感受，適合親子共賞。

觸技曲是要表現出對於鍵盤的「觸動」，進而展現出華 麗的技巧。然而巴赫的觸技曲作品有著如幻想曲一般卻 包含宗教的內容。巴赫藉由音樂不僅呈現快樂的人生， 更包含著善與惡、天使的話語、上帝的訓誡、以及天國 之門等的積極提示。舒曼的鋼琴作品偏愛套曲形式，《狂 歡節》就是以 21 首小曲來描述如節慶最後一天化妝舞會 行列上登場的各種人物。

e musical style of the toccata (literally “to touch”) gives free play to the nger technique of virtuoso piano players. J.S. Bach, in his Toccata and Fugue in D minor, hints at the fantasia while also incorporating religious elements. He not only infuses in his Toccata the joy of life, but also good and evil, the dialogues of angels, the admonishment of God, and visions of the pearly gates. Robert Schumann’ s Carnaval for piano solo, with suggestions of the divertimento, depicts the colorful panoply of masked people at the end of carnival, in 21 pieces total.

2022《我喜愛的歌》 華格納的男中音歌劇詠唱調之夜
An Evening of R. Wagner’s Opera Arias for Baritone
2011 年，在恩師德林教授 (Prof. R. Döring) 的鼓勵下，林 中光開始學習華格納的男中音角色，教授更為其設計了 全場獨唱會曲目。之後獲 NSO 邀請，演出《帕西法爾》 的安佛塔斯王，正式踏入華格納的世界。今年 9 月，林 中光終於將 11 年前的計畫搬上舞台，結合謝欣容、車炎 江與王奕盛，四人將為大家呈現與眾不同的華格納。
In 2011, with the encouragement of his professor R. Döring, LIN Chung-kuang began to study Wagner's baritone role, and the professor designed the repertoire for the recital. Later, he was invited by NSO to perform "Parsifal", King Amfortas, and o cially stepped into Wagner's world. In September of this year, LIN Chung-kuang finally put the plan 11 years ago on the stage. Combined with HSIEH Hsin-jung, CHE Yan-jiang and Ethan WANG, the four will present a unique Wagner to everyone.

音樂之星音樂會《星耀秋季》
Music Star Concert Shining Star in Autumn Night
台中市交響樂團於 2015 年啟動「音樂之星計畫」，為國 內的優秀青年音樂家構築音樂展演平台，提供在學學子、 歸國青年一個交流音樂的舞台，於社區、校園、演藝廳 等適當場地，舉辦音樂之星獨奏會和室內樂音樂會，以 達藝文推廣之效。2022 音樂之星定期音樂會以《星耀秋 季》為主題，編制適合於秋季欣賞的曲目，以獨奏、重 奏方式演出，透過不同樂器的結合展現音樂的美妙，讓 聽眾以感受一個優雅愜意的午夜。
Taichung Symphony Orchestra launched the “Music Star Project” in 2015, to build a music performance platform for outstanding young musicians in Taiwan. Providing a stage for students and returning youth to exchange music, in communities, campuses, performance halls, etc. Music Star recital and chamber music concerts are held to achieve the effect of music and culture promotion. The 2022 Music Star regular concerts are based on the theme of Shining Star in Autumn Night, compiling repertoires suitable for autumn enjoyment, and performing in solo and ensemble forms, showing the beauty of music through the combination of different instruments, allowing the audience to experience an elegant and comfortable midnight.

Three Romantic composers, three trios, and the trinity musical relationship between Schumann, Clara, and Brahms. Each of their pieces, Brahms’s Piano Trio No.1, Clara’s Piano Trio in G minor, op 17, and Schumann’s Phantasiestücke in a minor, Op. 88, all praised love and passion through strings of its instruments, demonstrating the tender yet structural style of the Classical.

本作品將從「限制」出發，以肢體為媒材，帶領觀眾透 過遊戲追逐參與體驗，由身體啟動思考──我們始終都擁 有看待事物的自由。在這裡，沒有標準答案，不須依循 慣性，能夠為自己做決定是一種自由，也是了解與認同 的過程。歌劇院駐館藝術家楊乃璇以編舞傳遞訊息，展 現個人美學，並藉由集體共創，邀請觀眾加入《Je suis en forme》完成一場限時的專屬派對。
This production starts off with“constraints”and makes use of body movements as the medium. Audience members will partake in the experience through a game of chasing and be inspired by their physical movements−we always have the freedom to decide how we view things. Here, textbook answers do not exist and there is no need to fall back on the old ways of things. Making decisions for yourself means freedom as well as a process of understanding and recognition. NTT Artist-in-Residence Sunny YANG Naihsuan will convey her message through choreography and express her own aesthetic. Je suis en forme invites audience to take part in an exclusive party with time limit through a collective creative process.

“unsex me here......”她迫切地想要消除女性特質，以男性 特質取而代之，為達成煽動丈夫弒君奪位的目的。隨著女 性主義的崛起，現代女性不再禁錮於三從四德，不管內心 還是外貌，都能隨心所欲展現所謂女性或男性特質的一 面。或許我們可以說，現代女性就是馬克白夫人 2.0 ？ 本演出為原創肢體劇場作品，以馬克白夫人的獨白，一字 一句細細咀嚼，品嚐她千迴百轉的思緒；再以綢吊與水袖， 一拋一轉步步驚心，忖度她包裹在陰柔裡的剛強。空靈、 極簡的視覺美學，碰撞出內心深處最千絲萬縷的糾結。
“unsex me here……” She is urgent to get rid of femininity and replace with masculinity; in order to reach the goal of usurping the throne by inciting her husband to murder the king. Along with the rise of feminism, women nowadays are no longer chained by three obedience and four virtues. For appearance and heart, we can display either femininely or masculinely as we want. Maybe we can say that women in this generation are Lady Macbeth 2.0?
It is an original physical theatre production, based on Lady Macbeth's monologues from William Shakespeare's play- Macbeth. By immersing in the lines, we taste her various emotions and thoughts; besides, the use of aerial silks and long sleeve dance presents her inner strength concealed in the delicate appearance. e visual aesthetics of minimalism and etherealness accentuate the most complicated entanglement.

After the industrial revolution, the world span faster and faster. Composers wrote music to express the changing of inner and outer worlds. 《憶起聽見》簡孟軍 2022 鋼琴獨奏會

鋼琴家簡孟軍自 2019 年取得於伊利諾大學香檳分校博士 畢業後第一場後疫情的個人鋼琴獨奏會。上半場以古典 時期及巴洛克時期的巴赫及貝多芬的樂曲作為開場，下 半場以盧易之的臺灣鋼琴民謠及蕭泰然的《家園的回憶》 體現出截然不同的對比。
《憶起聽見》不僅是一起聽見古典樂曲的美，也回憶起 過去臺灣民謠與西方音樂結合的體現。
After graduating from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2019, pianist CHIEN Meng-chun hosts his rst post-pandemic solo piano recital. e performance begins with works by Bach and Beethoven from the Baroque and Classical periods, while the second half features contrasting local ballads and compositions by LU Yi-chi and Tyzen HSIAO.

愚溪先生在小說《袍修羅蘭》裡以詩和散文融合在一起 的語言，向我們敘述了一個優美動人的故事。他藉助種 種具有象徵意義的人物和故事，傳達的卻是佛家對宇 宙、大千世界的認識、體悟，通過對構成宇宙「七大因 素」⸺「地、水、火、風、空、見、識」匯歸真理「如 來藏」的認識，到達「真理與美同在」的崇高境界。
In the novel Pao Xiu Luo Lan, Mr. Yuxi described a beautiful and moving story in the form of poetry and prose. He conveyed the Buddihist wisdom and understand of the universe and the vast world through the various characters and stories with symbolic meanings. Converging the seven elements of the universe "earth," "water," "fire," "wind," "void," "delight," "connection," to understand the truth of Tathagata and in term reaching the lofty realm of "truth and beauty coexist".

From eater to Architecture: Rendering Romance throught Light
光之於賴雨農而言，就像以不同面貌遊走於不同材質間的一趟旅程。我們看見光，也瞥見材質，於是心中畫出了空間。光 從心裡出發，帶著我們旅行，最後又回到我們心上，繞成了一趟旅程。賴雨農將從攝影切入，帶領我們認識光的材質與運 用，以及他是如何將光運用在科技媒材領域，於 2022 年高雄燈會中帶給觀眾震撼感受。最後，在後 LED 時代，我們該如 何想像未來光的樣貌。
For Uno LAI, lighting is a journey through multiple materials with diversi ed roles. We see light, and also materials. A space is thus created in our mind. Starting from the mind, light takes us onto this journey and returns to where it starts. In this lecture, Uno LAI is going to show us the texture and application of light from the perspective of photography. He will talk about how he applied light on new media and amazed the audience in 2022 Taiwan Launtern Festival in Kaohsiung. Eventually, he will share how he, and we, may envision light in th oost-LED era.

曾演出《俗女養成記》、《國際橋牌社》等多部高收視率影視作品，有「劇場鬼才」之稱的陳家逵，從小算是大人眼中 的「不聽話小孩」，直到接觸表演，陳家逵終於在劇本中，瞭解人性的複雜與世事的荒謬，藉由詮釋不同角色，從中體 驗人生境遇，對於過往未被滿足的遺憾也能幽默視之，寬容對待生活的重重關卡。表演之於陳家逵而言，站上舞台不僅 僅是詮釋好劇本中的角色，更能無憾地演繹自己的人生。
Dubbed the "theater wizard," CHEN Chia-kuei has appeared in The Making of an Ordinary Woman and Island Nation. Disobedient as a child, acting helped him understand human nature and the absurdity of the world through screenplays. CHEN'S various roles helped him respond to life's ups and downs with wit and grace and to interpret his own life without regret.

Directed by YEE Chi-yen, City of Lost Things won Best Animated Feature Film at the 57th Golden Horse Awards. It tells the story of Xiaoshu, a young boy who missed school and was bullied. Exiled to an abandoned city, Xiaoshu encountered Ah Dai, a fearless plastic bag. YEE uses anthropomorphism to tell a fantastical tale, forging a new path for Taiwanese animation.

Aging Workshop Musicals
歌劇院邀請備受學員推崇的音樂劇演員葉文豪三度授課，回顧 2019 年，葉文豪老師帶領 20 位後青年學員找回青春活力； 2021 年，葉文豪和王悅甄兩位老師以《大象計畫》音樂劇創作串起大家的生命故事。
本次工作坊，兩位老師再次合體將以一首歌教您從正確發聲到輕鬆歌唱，讓音樂旋律與劇本文字喚起您對音樂劇表演的 感動。透過 10 堂課程的訓練，更加瞭解自己的聲音與肢體展現，更可透過表演一起為生活增添色彩！

邁入第三年的音樂劇工作坊，邀請在音樂劇領域耕耘多年的音樂劇資深演員授課，自稱「大叔」的葉文豪老師，憑藉著 渾身上下散發的迷人魅力，擄獲眾多粉絲。本次工作坊從「呼吸」開始，循序漸進從身體肌肉的訓練、歌唱發聲的方式， 重新組合呼吸、身體與聲音的關係與運用，建構完整的表演基本功。在認識、學習音樂劇的組成與表演方式後，將帶領 學員透過音符、旋律與劇本文字的基礎，串接起每位學員生活的養分，交織出獨一無二的生命故事。
NTT once again invites the experienced musical actor, YEH Wen-hao, to conduct the musical workshop. A self-claimed “uncle” , YEH has netted numerous fans with his unique charm. e workshop starts from breathing exercises, followed by physical training, vocal training, and them rebuilding and using the connection among breath, body and voice. e workshop aims to probide basic trainings for performers. After learning about the composition and performing style of musicals, equipped with the basics of songs, melody and texts, participants will try to weave together their life stories into a unique performance.

本工作坊從呼吸練習開始，資深劇場演員蔡佾玲帶領學員和自己的身體相處，在表演遊戲中，探索自我，開啟聆聽與覺 察的感知連結。學員彼此探索生活中的日常情境，在場景設計與角色練習中，交換對生活的理解與想像。在老師引導下， 學員們將共同發想及完成劇本的角色與故事。
Starting with breathing exercies, senior actress TSAI Yi-ling helps participants learn to live with their own bodies by discovering self as well as opening senses and awareness in performing games. rough exploring each other's daily life, participants act out roles in particular scenarios and get to exchange their perceptions of and imagination about life. Under facilitated guidance, participants will together develop the roles and plot.

For individuals over the age of 18. The course begins with breathing, observing, entering scenes, and developing improvisations, monologues, and other performance skills. Find inspiration in poetry, let your imagination run wild, release your inner actor, and revel in the enchantment of performance art.

黃春明： 戲劇如詩 ，
讓想像力飛翔 童心未泯的文藝魔術師

許多人定義黃春明是「作家」，《兒子的 大玩偶》、《看海的日子》、《莎呦娜拉， 再見》等都是兩、三代人的讀物，但老作 家說：「我的劇本文字比小說、詩和散文 還多。」
黃春明深耕劇場，不只是劇作家、導演，身兼布 景、美術，偶爾上台票戲，還經營著一個「黃大 魚兒童劇團」，帶著孩子們站上國家戲劇院舞台。
「要有環境。」被問到戲劇何時在人生中播下種 子時，黃春明這麼回答，那是童年在羅東跟著爺 爺聽說書，《西遊記》、《水滸傳》，還有他最 喜歡的《封神榜》、《妲己敗紂王》及盲婦彈月 琴唱的《殺子報》，至今他還能唱演幾句。
或者跟阿嬤去看歌仔戲，有《陳三五娘》、《山 伯英台》這些故事，臺灣光復後，黃爸爸喜歡看 平劇、也喜歡唱，黃春明聽著聽著，幾十年過去 了，信口能唱出《蕭何月下追韓信》。
黃春明 臺灣當代文學作家，創作類型包 括小說、散文、詩、兒童文學、 戲劇、撕畫、油畫等，也是「黃 大魚兒童劇團」負責人。他創作 《兒子的大玩偶》等多部小說被 改編成電影編導多部兒童劇、歌 仔戲。他還發行《九彎十八拐》 雙月刊文學刊物，至今已到 104 期了。

從聽戲學做戲 編導布景全一手包
這些種子進入黃春明的世界，逐漸發芽。就讀羅東中學時，要做軍中服務，他做戲劇，除了 國語不好只能讓給外省同學演出，他是有後台工作的參與經驗。
在屏東師院（今國立屏東大學）時逢 10 週年校慶，他又負責戲劇，演了安徒生童話《紅鞋》 （ Red Shoes ），劇中聖歌找合唱團演唱法國音樂家夏爾古諾的《聖母頌》。身兼編劇、布景、 合唱的黃春明幾乎一直躲在後台，直到謝幕時才被校長請出來，接受熱烈掌聲。
黃春明還當過廣播電台主持人，不只收獲了愛情，娶到原為播音員的夫人林美音，更在這時 期寫了非常多的廣播劇本；廣播劇的劇本量大，大到開盲腸、膝蓋開刀也都得躺在病床上趕 稿，也曾為中視寫 97 集的《貝貝劇場——哈哈樂園》木偶戲，其中的角色小瓜呆後來被拿去 做餅乾形象。
這麼拚命寫，是因為上臺北時沒有錢，夫妻倆分租台電員工住宿的一個房間，就一床一櫥一 窗一桌，為了安靜，總是深夜寫作。有一次夜裡寫作，寫著寫著就掉眼淚，妻子以為他生病， 沒想到黃春明掛著淚說：「小說裡面的女主角好可憐。」那是《看海的日子》裡的白梅。
一邊埋頭創作，一邊也搞起了黃大魚劇團，黃春明親力親為，寫劇本、跟小朋友講戲，一段 段分析人物情緒的轉折， 6 個月之內，一天兩小時的排演。既不是職業劇團，也沒有充裕經 費，都是家長帶著孩子來，常常連家長都被黃春明看中，全家一起登台演出。
戲劇如寫詩 為觀者打開想像力
文字創作對讀者而言，有很大的想像空間，影像媒體的發達普遍， 剝奪了人們的想像力。黃春明 説 ，文學創作以「老少咸宜」為目標。 所以黃春明的戲劇，不管是為劇團原創的劇本，或是《稻草人和小 麻雀》、《小駝背》和《我不要當國王》等改編自他的小說，都運 用了靈活的想像力。
由「曉劇場」製作、即將要到臺中國家歌劇院演出的《戰士，乾
杯！》則是改編自黃春明同名小說，也是他的原創劇本，寫出魯凱 族在戰亂時代的悲劇，那是黃春明去好茶村訪視時的感悟。劇中， 一個魯凱族家庭，耶穌受難圖旁有日本兵打扮的相片、穿著中共八 路軍服的相片，以及國軍照，一個家庭有三種不同兵種，甚至是彼 此為敵。看似不合理，但黃春明從歷史脈絡出發都有跡可尋。
「作家背景對劇本寫作是一定有幫助的。」黃春明肯定兩者的連 結，但他並不在意創作的形式，以新書《零零落落》詩集為例，詩 和戲劇一樣，都有很大的想像空間，尤其他的詩淺白易懂，都帶有 故事。黃春明說，重點是「保持童心」。
就像劇團取名「黃大魚」，那是因為他認為，生物圈中有老狗、老 牛、老虎，就是沒有老魚，而總也不老的魚兒，有著一片海洋可徜 徉。就像 88 歲的黃春明，心總也不老，童心帶著想像力，還有文 字要寫、還有劇作要出。
