編輯室的話
春夏交接之際，花繁枝茂、蟲鳴鳥叫，本期《歌劇院時刻》為讀者帶來正處藝術能量創作豐沛期的劇場人。
在「聚光燈下」專欄開篇與讀者見面的，是人稱「百變女王」的王安琪，她幹練而獨立的新女性形象，是劇場界獨樹一 格的存在。透過專訪，回顧曾經扮演過的角色，看見她堅定而溫柔的面貌。
同時，我們來到編劇林孟寰的「宅故事」編劇工作室，聽他聊聊從構思到定本花了近 20 年的《熱帶天使》，以及編劇這 一行的甘苦，和他馬不停蹄的創作生活。
來到歌劇院，總有新發現。「歌劇院 Pick Up」介紹一手打造新加坡料理「Chope Chope Eatery」的林恬耀（Jimmy Lim）主廚， 他帶來的不只是北緯一度的異國風味，更是融合文化與感官的極致饗宴。
Editor’s Preface
As June starts to move spring into summer, this issue of NTT What’s On continues bringing intriguing and insightful stories. “Under the Spotlight” will feature two theater wonders, always beaming with profuse creative energy.
Angie WANG, aka the Chameleonic Madonna, impresses our readers with her unique character as a smart and independent modern woman. Through this interview, Angie reviews many roles she had played and reveals a woman gentle but fiercely steadfast.
At the same time, we also called upon playwright LIN Meng-huan’s studio, Story Nerd Works. LIN talked about Tropical Angels, a story that took him twenty years to conceptualize and put into words, his life as a playwright and screenwriter, as well as his almost non-stop writing career.
There is always something fresh when you walk into NTT. This time, “NTT’s Pick Up” brings to you Chef Jimmy Lim who singlehandedly creates the Singaporean restaurant “Chope Chope Eatery.” The exotic flavors from 1°N certainly serve you a moveable feast of culture and senses.

宮崎駿的動畫一直伴隨著大家成長，在精彩動畫背後，一 首首時而浪漫、時而溫馨、時而詼諧、時而壯闊的配樂， 賦予動畫更多色彩與風味。而這些扣人心弦的樂音，即是 出自於知名配樂大師──久石讓之手。這場音樂會，「狂 美」從日本原裝進口精選的編曲版本，渴望精采呈現宮崎 駿與久石讓歷年合作的經典動畫，並由與大家一起成長的 電影明星──楊小黎導聆本場節目。在優美樂音中，期待 重溫初次接觸宮崎駿動畫時的興奮與感動。
Hayao Miyazaki’s animations have always been with everyone’s growth. Behind the wonderful animations, there are some songs that are sometimes romantic, sometimes warm, sometimes humorous, and sometimes magnificent, which give the animation more color and flavor. For this concert, the Orchestra specially imported selected arrangements from Japan, eager to present the classic animation of Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi's collaboration, and hosted by the movie star YANG Shiau-li who grew up with us. With beautiful music, we look forward to relive the excitement of your first contact with Hayao Miyazaki animation.

去年 5 月，由朱宗慶打擊樂團策劃的「臺灣新聲力」系 列，集結上百位音樂家，展現臺灣打擊樂界的團結一心， 卻因突發疫情而取消。然而，眾人並未忘記當時的約定， 今年 5 月，系列升級為「臺灣新聲力 +」：朱宗慶打擊樂 團專場《擊刻風景》，除了精選當代擊樂經典，更集合 藝術家董陽孜 ✕ 作曲家賴德和 ✕ 多媒體藝術家周東彥三 位名家，一同展現打擊樂與多媒體之間的即刻呼應！
Ju Percussion Group’s special performance, Beating the Instant, will not only feature contemporary percussion classics, but also bring together the acclaimed artist TONG Yang-tze; composer LAI Dehho; and multimedia artist CHOU Tung-yen; to demonstrate the immediate echo between percussion and multimedia.

從創作透出最內在的自己！《在山海來去》編創林廷緒 於蘭嶼進行田野走訪過程中，重新審視自我對生命歷程 的來與去，及尋覓由自然現象轉化為肢體發展的身體觀； 《黑暗的光景》導演洪儀庭以兒時經驗取材，藉由穿插 大人視角，召喚隨著成長而遁入黑暗的原初印象，混雜 「當時」感受與「現在」的詮釋；《我是既快樂又悲傷》 導演暨演出者高偉恩，透過變裝皇后的角色扮演，將私 密的內心置於妝容前，展露脆弱和不得示人的一面。
The 14th edition features three outstanding works. LIN Tingsyu's Voyage through Mountains and Seas, was based on LIN's fieldwork on Orchid Island. In this dance piece, he reexamines his life's journey and transforms natural phenomena into physical movements. In Scenes from the Dark , Alice HUNG draws inspiration from her childhood, setting herself up as a distant other and facing her own sensory experiences. The story evokes the first impressions of the darkness with maturation, mixing past and present consciousness by interweaving adult perspectives. KAO Wei-en's Help me, I'm living, a drag queen reveals the inner self and vulnerability underneath the makeup, mystifying the actual performing subject. Only when we learn about the true self we can finally possess happiness and sadness.

This year, NTT Salon Fun Opera will feature two opera maestros, Verdi and Puccini, introduced by CHIAO Yuan-pu and several opera singers. Following last year’s series on French operas, we will further explore glamour at the turn of the 20th century. This series will offer a special treat for those who fancy ghost themes in operas or are interested in a tour of classical Czech operas. 沙丁龐客劇團 《白蛇 ?!》：小丑們的終局之戰
White Snake?! The final struggle of the clowns 這是一個由四個小丑組成的彆腳劇團，創團至今從未有 過成功的作品，每次的演出不是觀眾稀稀落落、就是演 出狀況百出。在劇團生死存亡之際，團長突然想到：「許 多劇團只要一演出《白蛇傳》幾乎都場場爆滿，根本就 像是票房保證一樣啊！那我們何不也來演演看！」於是， 這群天真的小丑們就跑去租了劇院檔期，勤苦學戲、排 練，抱著背水一戰的心，打算挑戰演出堪稱「表演藝術 聖母峰」的京劇，靠《白蛇傳》挽救劇團命運！
This is a troupe of four naive and blundering clowns which has never had a successful production and whose performances were either sparsely attended or very poorly staged. Finally, the troupe is faced with a business crisis. Then it occurs to the director: “Many theater companies would almost always have sold outs when they perform the classic play, The Legend of the White Snake, so let's give it a go.” The clowns then set out on a decisive battle to challenge themselves to "mission impossible" by performing Peking Opera— the Mount Everest of the performing arts—a piece titled The Legend of the White Snake to save the troupe's life.

《熱帶天使》
Tropical Angels
音樂劇《熱帶天使》描述臺籍青年林逸平在二戰期間被 日軍徵召，前往東南亞戰場，遇見同是流落異鄉的慰安 婦賴莎琳，面對戰爭和日軍強權壓迫下，他們彼此扶持 關照，產生了一段曖昧的情愫。戰爭，讓他們在熱帶島 嶼相遇；生存，是他們卑微的希望，仰望天邊閃爍的南 十字星，流著淚也要奮力唱出「活著的證明」。
Tropical Angels tells the story of LIN Yi-ping, an aspiring young man who is still searching for his direction is recruited by the Japanese army and sent to the South-East Asian battlefield. He then meets LAI Sha-lin, a comfort woman who is also an outlander. As the two support and care for each other in the face of war and oppression by the Japanese army, their feelings for each other grow over time. A war brings them together on a tropical island. They cling tightly to a slim hope for survival under the gaze of the Southern Cross. They persist to sing even in tears to prove that they are still alive.

出生於彰化縣花壇鄉的青年音樂家陳思婷，個子嬌小，卻 能駕馭比她大一號的低音提琴，演奏展現深沉吟詠的巨大 魅力。國中畢業赴美至今十年磨一劍，從美國茱莉亞音樂 學院取得碩士學位，從一個小女孩成長為少女的她更心繫 家鄉，這場《十年一品低音提》正是她旅美學習音樂十年 的里程碑。
Born in Huatan Township, Changhua County, Ormay CHEN is a young talented musician. Petite as she is, Ormay CHEN makes it seem perfectly sensible for a full-sized double bass with her superior control to reflect a low and rich sound style on the instrument. Ormay CHEN has been playing music since before she can remember, and has an outstanding record as a performer. After ten years in the United States, Ormay CHEN came back to her hometown with the Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School. With a decade of preparation in the States, she would like to connect her music with places in her hometown that are special to her. Ormay CHEN Double Bass Milestone Recital is presented to celebrate and honor the influences from both her studies in America and her beloved hometown.

《時空音梭─擬音真藝 2022》 Time Shuttle
自 1992 年，郭宗愷博士在東海大學開創了東海大學電子 管風琴交響樂團，隨著音響科技長足的進步，在二十多 年的實驗及研發後，這種新時代的演奏樂器已漸茁壯實 用。電子管風琴及鋼琴主修的學生，因此獲得了許多合 奏的機會與樂趣，學習到前人所未經驗過的音樂風格與 曲目。
Our music department has the only Electronic Organ Symphonic Orchestra in Taiwan. Conducted by Professor KUO Tzongkai, the ensemble has performed many concertos, musicals, and operas. Consisting of piano majors as well as electronic organ majors, this ensemble provides students with valuable experience reading orchestral scores and an opportunity to learn important works in the orchestral repertoire.

1960 年在勞權不發達的世代，沒有加班費、沒有週末、 沒有颱風假、沒有勞工運動的保障的年代。一群女工吃 苦耐勞，一輩子工作就是家庭代工，用青春換取家裡的 經濟，把自己的機緣留在門外，將青春嫁給輸送帶。
曾經想著未來能幸福美滿，曾經想著賺的一輩子辛苦錢 能換取自由，曾經想著我是否能擁有自己的夢想，一群 女工，各自努力著，各自面對社會的現實，但生活最艱 辛的陪伴是鳳飛飛的歌聲，她們的一輩子只能獻給……
In the age of underdeveloped labor rights in 1960, female workers worked as homeworkers all their lives. They sacrificed their youth for the family’s economy. These young ladies were too negligible to dream the future, they had no choices but gave up their dreams and faced the reality instead. This is a story of Taiwanese female homeworkers in the 60s, and their daily pains and their small dreams.

猖獗的新瘟疫時代，由東海大學表 演藝術與創作碩士學程副教授黎煥雄導演帶領學生，推出 法國劇作家卡繆如同現世預言般、充滿超現實色彩的劇本 《圍城》(L’État de siège)。在邁入第三年的疫情，本版製作 將以後設的手法改編回應於不同時代然而相近的處境與困 惑。且將挑戰以音樂劇的型態，以累積數年在當代劇場以 及音樂劇場之間來回演練的實力，首度以相對完整的音樂 劇形式來印證本學程的創作實力與活力。
L’État de siège 2022: Work from Home , directed by LI Huanhsiung, is a theatre piece produced and presented by the Master Program of Performing and Creative Arts of Tunghai University in 2022, the new era of rampant COVID-19. L'État de siège, originated by French playwright Albert Camus. In the third year of the pandemic, the production of this version adapts the meta-narrative methods set prospectively to respond to similar situations and confusions in different eras. In addition, it will challenge the form of musical, with the accumulated skills through repetitively practicing among contemporary theatres and musical theatres for several years. For the first time, we present in a relatively complete musical form to demonstrate the creative strength and vitality of this vibrant program.

《暴風雨》講述身著紅色法袍的魔法師波布羅，高高地 站在孤島呼風喚雨，他製造一場暴風雨和船難，令仇人 喚醒良知，並成全了女兒與仇人兒子的美好姻緣，在愛 與和平下，以溫馨歡喜的喜劇收場。改編莎士比亞《暴 風雨》，由國際級導演徐克與吳興國合力執導，葉錦添 打造舞台服裝，全劇 145 分鐘融合舞台劇、京劇、原住 民歌舞，吳興國、林秀偉率興傳奇青年劇場演員，成就 一場目眩神迷的魔幻饗宴。
Adapted from Shakespeare’s classic, The Tempest is co-directed by Hark TSUI and WU Hsing-kuo, with costume and scene designed by Tim YIP. The 2-hour-25-minutes performance blends Western elements with traditional Jingju, Kunqu, and Taiwanese aboriginal music and dance, and is performed by Hsing Legend Youth Theatre. It was a marvelous theatrical spectacle, enchanting the audiences with its gorgeous stage effects, beguiling musical, and wondrous characters.

克拉拉．舒曼的人生中，1853 年是重要的一年，舒曼身 體狀況開始走下坡、結識了布拉姆斯（之後兩者長達幾十 年的書信往來），同年亦為她大量創作的一年。本場音樂 會將以克拉拉與布拉姆斯兩位作曲家為主軸，從克拉拉的 作品 16、布拉姆斯對舒曼敬重而寫下的主題變奏曲，再 到克拉拉的作品 15 及 20，並以布拉姆斯獻給她的六首鋼 琴作品結尾，此曲亦為布拉姆斯重要的鋼琴曲精髓。
1853 was an important year for Clara Schumann. Robert Schumann's health began to decline, and Clara also met Brahms that year (later a decades-long correspondence between the them). The concert begins with Clara's Op. 16, and moves to Brahms' Variations on a Theme by Schumann, written in honor of Schumann. Then the pianists will play Clara's Op. 15 and Op. 20, also composed in 1853. At the end of the concert, Six Piano Works, Op. 118 by Brahms will be played, which was dedicated to Clara Schumann.

NTSO Lecture Concert Series is planned by writer YANG Zhao, planning four concerts to introduce the female composers: Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann, the lesser known British violist and composer Rebecca Clark, and American composer and pianist Amy Beach. The series IV will introduce Amy Beach’s Piano Quintet with live demonstrations and full performance by NTSO musicians.

拉赫曼尼諾夫的第二號交響曲是公認的傑作，作曲家駕馭 宏闊規模的手法令人折服。葛利果聖歌〈震怒之日〉出現 在交響曲中，這個旋律肅穆森然，在第二號交響曲看似不 明顯，但已化入樂曲脈絡之中，無處不在，成為統整這首 巨構的軸線，這首交響曲 1908 年首演於聖彼得堡。
布魯赫的第一號小提琴協奏曲沉鬱雄渾，情感濃烈，深 受聽眾喜愛。
Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 is a recognized masterpiece, and the composer's grand scale of composition is impressive. ‘Dies irae’ (Day of Wrath) from Gregorian Chant appears in the Symphony No. 2 with the solemn melody of the grand structure. Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 is strong and emotional, which is popular with audiences.

周善祥（Kit Armstrong）出生於 1992 年，精通鋼琴、作曲、 數學與科學。7 歲成為加州查普曼大學史上最年輕的獎學 金學生，2008 年畢業於倫敦大學皇家音樂學院，2012 年 在法國巴黎索邦大學獲得純數學碩士學位，他也是鋼琴 名家布蘭德爾退隱舞台之前的最後一位弟子。周善祥 8 歲首演他自己創作的鋼琴協奏曲，並於 2009 和 2010 年 與萊比錫布商大廈管弦樂團演出巴赫 D 小調鋼琴協奏曲 與舒曼 A 小調鋼琴協奏曲。
Described by the New York Times as a “brilliant pianist” who combines “musical maturity and youthful daring in his exceptional playing”, Kit Armstrong performs as a soloist with some of the world’s most famous orchestras while maintaining an active career as a recitalist and composer. Born in 1992, “Armstrong, the amazement-causing artist who can only be described as a musical phenomenon” (Süddeutsche Zeitung) appears today at major international venues such as the Vienna Musikverein, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Berlin Philharmonie, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, NHK Hall Tokyo and Palais des Beaux-Arts Brussels.
Alfred Brendel, who has guided Armstrong as teacher and mentor since 2005, ascribes to him “an understanding of the great piano works that combines freshness and subtlety, emotion and intellect”. Their relationship was captured in the film Set the Piano Stool on Fire by Mark Kidel.

剛經歷喪父之痛、妻子離開的主角，萬念俱灰地開著破爛 的老車，在極北之地的森林裡偶遇一家只憑「分享回憶」 入住的奇異旅館，老闆和旅客有像熊一樣的流星、有高高 在上自以為是的恆星、有脖子像長頸鹿般長的矮行星…… 這是一場 90 分鐘的迷幻靈魂探索，藉由念白、光影、人 聲和樂團帶您穿越悠遠的星河、看見吵鬧的流星劃過、聒 噪的旅館酒吧、以及靜謐的北歐草原，故事情節彷彿是東 方版的《小王子》，充滿奇幻又令人回味無窮。
Star River Hotel is composed by JIN Cheng-zhi. It is a musical fairy tale! The story told by this suite took place in 1982. The protagonist, whose father died and his wife left, drove aimlessly in the far north. He had no worries and thoughts until he came across a strange hotel in the forest. The hotel does not accept humans, and can only check in by “sharing memories”. There are mysterious customers and bosses, and there are also options to “remember” or “forget”. This 90-minute fantasy journey is more like a movie without pictures, immersing people in the music and feeling the hangover in the Galaxy Hotel. It is this kind of healing, comfortable, interesting, touching, and free new chorus performance.

Currently Huqing player in the Taipei Chinese Orchestra, LIN Chen-feng often collaborates with different Chinese orchestras in Taiwan, as well as performs in Beijing, Tianjin, Xiamen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Mongolia, Japan, Turkey, US, UK, Germany, and France. With natural musicality and foundational music trainings in both the Chinese and western systems, LIN interprets music with dexterity and fullness, rich with skills and emotion. His control of rapid notes in succession precise and clean; his performance exuding intensity and power. LIN is one of the outstanding young Huqing players today. 歌劇院為培養中部表演藝術專業人才，開設藝術行政實務專業課程。「藝術行政人才培育計畫―基礎班」在 2022 年邁入第 3 屆，本屆以「聽懂合作對象說什麼」的概念出發，為現職或未來有志於從事表演藝術行政工作者規劃專業知識課程，認識藝 文產業輪廓；更首度與臺灣專業藝文團隊合作，讓學員進入團隊體驗藝術行政工作的真實樣貌，進而累積實務經驗。
For nurturing performing arts professionals in central Taiwan, NTT launches the Arts Administration - Foundation Course. This year, the course starts with the concept of "understanding what partners are saying"; covers the professional courses and practice classes for current and future professional performing arts administration workers. All the program is designed to give arts administration workers the professional knowledge they need so they can learn the outline of the arts and culture industry; at the same time, the practice classes will help them experience arts administration by being involved in actual theater operations; they will go on to accumulate more practical experiences.

Dr. Red Nose’s Remedy of Smile
2014 年，劇場表演者馬照琪赴法國微笑醫生組織學習「小丑醫生醫療服務」專業知識，回臺後推動「紅鼻子醫生計畫」， 培訓國內小丑醫生投入醫療陪伴，常態性為醫院裡的人們提供量身打造的即興演出，幫助病童、家屬與醫護人員緩解苦 痛、放鬆身心。馬照琪將分享這一段奇妙的旅程，從如何踏入默劇演出將小丑藝術帶進劇場，進而帶入醫療與照護機構； 過程中，各種體悟與甘苦，走遍全國遇到的感人故事，且聽她娓娓道來。
In 2014, theater performer MA Chao-chi went to France to receive trainings of professional medical clowns by Le Rire Médecin. After returning to Taiwan, she started “Dr. Red Nose Program” to train domestic medical clowns and to bring customized impromptu performances to medical and nursing facilities in Taiwan. They accompany patients, families and medical staff with laughter and help them relax from pains and stresses. MA Chao-chi will share this amazing journey: how she got in touch with mime performance and brought clowning art into theater and how she further introduced it into medical and nursing facilities. Let her share with you all sorrow and happiness, insights and touching stories from all corners of the country along the way.

周曼農講座─作為漫遊和棲居的劇場 CHOU Man-nung in Dialogue: Theater as a Wandering Place and a Habitat
當劇場再也沒有舞台與觀眾席的劃分，虛構空間和現實之間的界限變得流動且不穩定，劇場╱表演的意義及觀演體驗產 生了何種本質的變化？不斷遊牧的形式是否仍該尋找歸屬、讓劇場各種元素得以棲息安居？ 本次講座戲劇學者秦嘉嫄將分享國內外沉浸式與遊走式的劇場作品，並且透過淺顯易懂的理論分析，對作品進行深度剖 析；周曼農則以作品案例、自身觀察及體驗，介紹她歷年來不同類型的創作，在彼此交流中撞擊對劇場空間的無限想像。
When there is no longer a division between the stage and seats, and when the division between the virtual space and the reality becomes blurred and fluid, have the purpose of theater/performance and audience experiences undergone certain essential changes? Should the everlasting nomadism find its destination for each and every theatrical element to settle into its place? NTT Resident Artist CHOU Man-nung invites theater academics, CHIN Jia-iuan, to share several domestic and international productions of immersive and mobile theaters. Professor CHIN provides an in-depth analysis of these productions from an accessible theoretical framework, while CHOU talks about various types of her own creations basing on her experiences and observation. The exchange expects to bring forth out-of-box imagination about the theatrical space.
