秋天如期而至，「遇見巨人」系列節目輪番上演。每個精彩製作都讓人身歷其境地感受藝術的強大能量，勾引著每位觀 眾想從尋常生活場景出走的靈魂。
本期「聚光燈下」專欄的兩篇專訪，都圍繞著出走與尋找的主題。擔任羅西尼歌劇《塞維亞理髮師》指揮的廖國敏，成 長於港澳，茁壯於西方樂壇，在古典音樂這個歐洲文化的主場，他如何跨越種種困難，調適並找到東方人的立足點？
我們也特別邀請即將在歲末音樂會《去歌劇院輕旅行！》擔任演出嘉賓的黃秋生，談談他心中的表演藝術。很少人知道， 集影帝、視帝、劇帝於一身的他還曾經出過唱片，對於他來說，表演似乎是不存在邊界的。

When autumn arrives as predicted, the series of “NTT Fall for Great Souls” is in full swing. Each and every production carries strong artistic vibe that sweeps one into the fantasy world instantaneously. Indeed, irresistible temptations for souls craving for an outlet from ordinary life.
In this issue of NTT What’s On, both columns of “Under the Spotlight” center around the themes of leave and search. Growing up in Macao and Hong Kong, LIO Kuokman, the conductor of Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioachino Rossini, has established himself in the world of western music. In the field of classical music where European cultures dominate, how did he, a musician from the East, overcome obstacles, adjust himself and find his own position?
Furthermore, we also invite Anthony WONG Chau-sang who is going to be the special guest in the 2021 New Year’s Eve Concert –NTT Airlines to talk about what performing arts mean to him. In addition to award-winning performances in films, on TV and onstage, Anthony also sings! For him, performing has no boundaries.
For those who would love to have a change of scenery, let’s come and chill out in NTT.

人聲，是世界上最容易感動人的樂器，它是人們最直接 的情感表達，有些說不出口的話，往往可透過演唱表達， 語言從來不是問題，因為可從歌者的肢體、表情、語氣 理解。本場音樂會希望藉由歌聲，傳遞出人們應互相珍 惜、包容彼此的訊息，如果世界能因彼此的存在而更加 美好和諧，這才是生命最值得的意義。
Vocal, is the most touching instrument in the world, because it is the most direct way to express ourselves. Some words which are hard to say could be easy to show by singing. It is a turbulent world nowadays. However, we still can sing out loudly. We hope that with our voices, we could remind every person from the bottom of his/her heart that the meaning of life is to let the world become more and more harmonious.

This is a story about seeking dreams with courage and accepting who we truly are. 黃翊與機器人庫卡自2012年起合作演出，至今已巡演 17個國家。期間，黃翊精進程式語言及工業設計，結合 國際巡演經驗，決定和庫卡開一間咖啡館，任親子同樂， 調製咖啡的聲音成為音樂，製作甜點的肢體化為舞蹈， 重新定義藝術與生活的界線，邀請每一位對未來好奇的 你訂位入座。
Since their first collaboration in 2012, HUANG Yi and KUKA have toured 17 countries. By taking this international experience and combining with HUANG Yi’s own improved expertise in program language and industrial design, they have now decided to open a café, where parents and children can play together. The sounds and movements of the café become music and dance, everyone who is curious about the future are all welcome to have a seat and redefine the boundaries between art and life.

在 2019 年《天國的喜悅》室內樂音樂會演出後，演出者 便積極策劃第二場人聲與單簧管、鋼琴的室內樂曲目。
2021 年《上城廳堂的下城藍調》精選 6 位 20 世紀當代英 美作曲家，歌曲題材從宗教的追求與內心潛意識的探詢， 到民謠及爵士藍調的抒詠，以當代作曲豐富多變的曲風， 演繹現代人生活中的多樣面貌。
After Die himmlischen Freuden Chamber Concert in 2019, the Amazing Sounds Ensemble has embarked the process of organizing the second chamber concert for vocal, clarinet and piano. Downtown Blues for Uptown Halls Chamber Concert in 2021 features six contemporary English and American composers of the 20th century. From religious pursuit to inner subconscious quest, from folk song to mellow blue note jazz, various styles of contemporary compositions look to reinterpret different dimensions of the modern life.

西班牙傑出大提琴家Arturo COSTA柯源盛2020年於 國家表演藝術中心北中南三個場館巡迴演出，皆獲得滿 場觀眾的支持與喝采。2021年他將再次與青年鋼琴家林 晏馳合作，在國家演奏廳演出及臺中國家歌劇院小劇場 演出，此次帶來俄國作曲家蕭斯塔科維契：D小調大提 琴奏鳴曲、拉赫瑪尼諾夫：G小調大提琴奏鳴曲以及臺 灣作曲家郭芝苑晚年所作的原住民音樂「二首賽夏族弦 律」等大提琴作品，再次展現大提琴如歌唱般的動人優 美樂音。
After the great success of his Taiwan concert tour in 2020, the outstanding Spanish cellist Arturo COSTA will once again bring a wonderful performance this year. Arturo Costa has hopes to share his love for Taiwan with more people in this concert. The program includes Shostakovich's Cello Sonata in D minor, the Rachmaninoff's Cello Sonata in G minor, Op. 19 and Taiwanese composer KUO Chih-yuan's Two Saisiyat Melodies for Cello and Piano. The cellist Arturo COSTA will once again show the beautiful and touching music of cello.

之前兩場《法蘭西時光機》及《德奧留聲機》張碩宇獨 奏會中，連續介紹了從巴洛克以降到當代的法、德、奧 長笛音樂。這次場景來到義大利，《精粹義大利》同為 線性的曲目演出內容，讓聽眾更能一覽義大利長笛音樂 的發展脈絡。獨特的義大利式華彩變奏作曲手法將帶來 炫麗的音響效果，喜歡配樂大師 Nino Rota（電影《教 父》）的聽眾，更不能錯過大師為長笛所作的五首小品。
This Piano Duo Concert features pianists Thomas Linde and CHEN Min-hwa. In addition to various masterful piano duet works, Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev will be accompanied by the English storyteller, Loraine Linde, with both Chinese and English subtitles to better represent the original design of the music. 12/7 （二） tue. 19:30
In previous two flute recitals, starting the Baroque to the Contemporary era CHANG Shuo-yu introduced French, German and Austrian flute music. This recital will further take audiences to Italy. In the chronological presentation, audiences will have an overview of how Italian flute music evolves through time. The unique Italian style of variations brings with it splendid musical effects. Those who love the music of the famous composer Nino Rota (who composed film scores for Godfather trilogy), shall not miss his Cinque Pezzi Facili for flute.

好的音樂總能觸動人心，超越言語與文字所能表達的意 涵。2021 邱佩珊長笛獨奏會突破曲目的侷限，重新演繹 「非長笛」的名作，其中包括聲樂曲、小提琴與中提琴 奏鳴曲，以及管絃樂曲的改編。前所未見的選曲與詮釋 將跳脫聽眾對長笛的既定印象，同時回歸作品本質，單 純呈現作曲家筆下優美的旋律與扣人心弦的和聲。兩位 活躍於樂壇的旅美博士：邱佩珊與黃楚涵擔綱演出，將 帶給觀眾不一樣的長笛音樂會。
This flute recital consists of great works not originally composed for flute, including vocal, instrumental, and orchestral music. The unprecedented interpretation will flash the audience's impression of the flute, expressing the essence and the beautiful melody of the works. The flutist CHIU Pei-san and pianist HUANG Chu-han will present an untypical recital.

A combination of Nanguan music and contemporary theater, Passage to Lo-Jin is a stage adaptation of the first novel of SHIH Shu-ching's Taiwan Trilogy. The story recounts the life of HSU Ching and his sexuality struggle against the backdrop of Lo-Jin (now Lukang), a prosperous harbor city. HSU, a cross-dressing male actor specializing in beautiful female roles, travels to Taiwan with his theater troupe. His good looks lead to his fame and result in his becoming a catamite of a Lukang business man. HSU later finds himself falling for a young geisha Wan, resulting in his confusion about his gender identity while being sexually exploited by a local official, ZHU Shi-guang. The development of the storyline runs alongside with the famous scenes from Tale of the Lychee Mirror, illustrating the lives of commoners against the rise and fall of Lukang.

《奏鳴》楊欣展鋼琴獨奏會
Sonata YANG Hsin-chan Piano Recital
奏鳴曲（Sonata）是一種器樂曲名稱，隨著不同時代有 不同形式與意義，到了古典時期奏鳴曲式與樂章架構逐 漸發展成熟，成為現今大家最常看到的樣貌，鋼琴既為 能獨當一面的樂器之王，也就有許多優秀的作品出現， 從18世紀到現在，仍有許多作曲家持續創作奏鳴曲。
本次音樂會以奏鳴曲為主軸，挑選不同時代的作曲家創 作，雖然都以奏鳴曲為寫作方式，但各自不同的風格與 手法，讓音樂呈現極為不同的樣貌。
Sonata is a type of instrumental composition. Its form and meaning varied in different periods of time. The structure was thoroughly fixed since the Classical era. Until nowadays, composers still use the musical form in their compositions. In this concert, sonatas and sonatinas in different era are selected. The music is multifaceted and represents composers’ unique ideas and styles even though these compositions are in the same musical form.

A Taste of Romance during COVID-19 LEE Chi Violin Recital
由日裔傳奇小提琴家五嶋綠發掘，自歐洲帶到美洲親炙 琴藝，李齊的足跡橫跨三大洲，更被譽為日後樂壇的新 星。2021 年的《疫情風光》邀請曾被譽為「臺灣的驕傲」、 「15 歲的臺灣奇蹟」等封號的吉他演奏家林家瑋共同演 奏皮亞佐拉的探戈舞曲，曲目自古典到現代，充分展現 其樂風的多樣性。
Violinist, LEE Chi studied in Los Angeles with violinist and pedagogue Midori Goto at the University of Southern California where he obtained his bachelor’s degree and is in the developing stages of a significant career already spanning three continents. During 2021 recital tour, LEE will perform Verano Perteño by the composer Astor Piazzollla with guitarist, LIN Chia-wei.

每個偉大的文明都有條不朽的河流。流貫德國的萊茵河， 更是音樂家演繹絕妙幻想、精彩變奏的音樂搖籃。鋼琴 家將帶領聽眾前往德國，聆聽三位偉大作曲家的經典創 作。舒曼的 C 大調幻想曲與布拉姆斯的韓德爾主題變奏 與賦格，完熟而觸動人心的創作技法，深刻呈現出兩位 巨擘的音樂藝術結晶。而巴赫的創作，經由拉赫瑪尼諾 夫及布梭尼的改編，展現不同於原作的另一番風景，期 能為聽眾帶來經典作品在不同改編視角下的精彩演繹。
An evening with three German composers' music. Rhine Journey Fantasy and Variations features Schumann’s Fantasie in C major, Op. 17 and Brahms’ Variations and Fugue on a theme by Handel, Op. 24. With it’s rhapsodic and profound expressions, these are undeniably two of the masterpieces from the entire piano literature. Moreover for the pieces of Bach, the pianist choose two pieces transcribed by Rachmaninoff and Busoni, who are great pianists and composers, and most importantly great admirers of Bach. Hopefully with these intriguing pieces, an unforgettable evening for everyone will ensue.

曾否於一段自在之中，觀想起一時間流裡的來去，以映 照是如何成為現在的究竟？本節目演出比利時裔法國作 曲家法朗克的名作：小提琴奏鳴曲與 F 小調鋼琴五重奏， 除了用以傳述演出者當前的心境之外，更想能與一眾英 才洋溢的音樂家們同台展演的機會，表達內心珍惜的情 懷。希望通過豐富多彩的音樂作品，讓聽眾們一起於「回 想」生命的同時，也得到來自生命的「迴響」。
Reflection is how one see oneself at a particular moment, and the outcome of course changes through time, also as one entering different stage of life. The music selected for this program gives me an opportunity to express the current state of mind, and to cherish taking this journey on making music together with talented fellow musicians.
