IT is with great pride and excitement that I extend a warm welcome to all Under-11 to Under-13 rugby and netball players, coaches, and accompanying families to the annual Aloe Cup 2025, taking place from 26 to 28 June at Jeffreys Bay Primary School.
This prestigious tournament has grown from strength to strength, and we are honoured that Jeffreys Bay –our beautiful coastal gem – is once again the proud host of this exceptional sporting event. With 24 netball teams and 12 rugby teams joining us from across the country, including as far as Cape Town, the Aloe Cup truly showcases the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and youth development.
To all the young athletes – this is your time to shine. Your dedication, talent, and teamwork are a true inspiration, and we are thrilled to witness the future of South African sport in action.
We also extend heartfelt thanks to the coaches and families who support and guide these young stars on their journey.
Beyond the excitement on the courts and fields, we encourage all visitors to take time to explore the vibrant tourism offerings of Jeffreys Bay and surrounding towns. From world-renowned surf spots and pristine beaches to family-friendly attractions and local markets, there is something special waiting around every corner.

IT is with immense pride and joy that I welcome you to the 8th annual Aloe Cup, hosted once again at Jeffreys Bay Primary School.
This tournament has become a highlight on our school calendar — a true celebration of youth sport, community spirit, and healthy competition.
This year, we are honoured to host 12 rugby teams and an impressive 24 netball teams from across the region. We are inspired by the dedication, talent, and sportsmanship that each of these young athletes brings to the field and court.
The Aloe Cup is not just about winning matches; it’s about building character, encouraging teamwork, and creating lasting friendships.
As we gather for this special event, let us remember that every game played and every cheer from the side lines contributes to a legacy far greater than scores and trophies.
Thank you to our generous sponsors. Your support has helped make this event possible, and your investment in our youth is deeply appreciated.
To all the coaches, parents, officials, and supporters — thank you for your role in making this tournament a success.
