NOVUM PHARMA

NOVUM PHARMA is a Dutch pharmaceutical company owning brands like STARBALM®, SOMEX, BIOGAZE, GASTROLYTE. Our company currently has offices in The Netherlands, Singapore and Hong Kong. Next to that we are selling STARBALM® Sport Care Brand over 60 countries in the world. We also support a lot of local activities and charity foundations.

Also we got our own STARBALM® beach run (www.strandlopen.nl) which takes place on the beach of Noordwijk every year 10 times in the month of June, July and August. NOVUM PHARMA also supports professional sports all over the world.

Our aim for the future is to create a more healthier and therefore happier society by focusing on the latest trends in OTC Healthcare and new technical innovation.

Judging the market dynamics and risks to take in international markets is one of the key success factors of Novum Pharma becoming a leading multinational pharmaceutical company. Nowadays Novum Pharma is operating in more than 60 countries in the world.

“We started 35 years ago as I used to work as a CEO for Rhone Poulenc Rorer, nowadays Sanofi Aventis and by that time they did not want to continue with their OTC division and I managed to make a deal and started for myself.”

Since then Novum Pharma became a major privately owned pharmaceutical company in the Netherlands, building leading brands.

Nevertheless we saw the potential growth in upcoming economies like Africa, Middle-East and Asia, which made us decide to diversify from Western Europe and focus on export as main part of our business model.
