ADDING BIOMETRICS TO THE GAME

The basic NOVOVISION™ registration desk consists of a work station, an NFC card reader and an OCR document scanner (e.g., Desko, ScanID, Fujitsu or alternatively, the Document Scan Feature via smart phone). The initial enrolment process includes the creation of a new data record, the verification and check of the customer ID against a series of lists and registers (AML, PEP list, government and casino blacklists, etc), customer submission to the terms and conditions and the issuing of a non-transferable NFC player loyalty card.

For the biometrically supported registration via face recognition, the customer’s facial picture is linked to an NFC-card or token. The card or token is subsequently used for identification and facial recognition for verification. At each return visit, the register queries are automatically executed at a NOVOVISION™ Face Recognition Terminal before access is granted

Subsequent to the initial registration, the customer can enter the venue by scanning their player card or token at a NOVOVISION™ Interactive Reader Module plus having their ID checked for verification. Alternatively, operators can also choose to issue a one-off QR access code via ticket or electronic transfer to the customer device.

For customers who have agreed to biometrically supported initial registration including a fingerprint template, a simple scan of the fingerprint (without an ID) will be sufficient for fully automated access queries on subsequent visits.

All NOVOVISION™ access terminals use an open interface for smooth communication with other units and devices of the access system, e.g. CRM modules, sliding doors, turnstiles etc.
