Check Before Starting Before drilling, verify that the system connection, positioning, and project data are ready for operation.
SIM Card & Network Connection A SIM card is required for: RTK correction services Xsite® MANAGE cloud services Remote support
1. Remove the SIM card tray by pressing the yellow button. 2. Insert the SIM card into the tray as shown in the picture. 3. Push the tray back into place.
Correction Signal (RTK) To achieve the required measurement accuracy for 3D machine control (centimeter-level accuracy), the system requires an RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) correction signal. The correction signal can be obtained either from a local site base station or via a network correction service (NTRIP). Check with the site surveyor whether the construction site uses a local base station and what settings are required to use the base station with the machine control system. The Xsite® system is compatible with many different online correction services (NTRIP), such as Geotrim Trimnet, Leica Smartnet, and Karera. You can obtain a correction signal from the service provider of your choice. The correction message from a local base station can be transmitted either via radio or through a network correction service.

Connect with Xsite® MANAGE Cloud Service Before projects can be synchronized from Xsite Manage, the cloud service must be enabled and the machine must be added to the site by a Site Administrator.
Enable Xsite Manage 1. Open Main Menu 2. Select Accounts 3. Select Xsite Manage 4. Set status to Enabled 5. Confirm
→ Edit
Find the DBSN Number If the machine is not visible in Xsite Manage, contact your Site Administrator and provide the machine DBSN number. In Xsite APP: 1. Open Main Menu 2. Select About 3. Locate the DBSN number The DBSN uniquely identifies the machine and is required when adding machines from external organizations.
Site Administrator’s Responsibilities The Site Administrator is responsible for: Adding machines to the site Managing site access Making project files available for synchronization Once the machine has been added to the site, projects can be synchronized to Xsite DRILL.
