Samantha Kimble
Our first speaker is the first of 4 young ladies that are or will one day walk the halls of Notre Dame - not to mention a family that are alumni’s and active at Notre Dame and the diocese of San Bernardino. Her impact on the faith life at Notre Dame has been felt with her vibrant personality that is rooted in the love of Christ She has also been athletically active in track and field, basketball, and volleyball and in the Gardening and Peer Ministry clubs. She will be attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in Aerospace Engineering in the Fall . Please join me in welcoming Samantha Kimble as our first Faith Speaker

Our second speaker has an older sibling that is a Notre Dame alumnus and a younger sibling currently attending Notre Dame He has been actively involved in sports and activities at Notre Dame. If you have been to an event at Notre Dame, more than likely you have seen him with a camera. He played football, basketball, swimming and track and field for one season, wrestling for two, and water polo for three where he earned Defensive League MVP, team MVP and broke the school record for most saves He has been involved in Peer Ministry, altar server and extraordinary ministry for our school liturgies. He will be attending Biola University in the Fall.

R. A reading from the Second Letter of St. Peter
Beloved:
Wait for and hasten the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved in flames and the elements melted by fire.
But according to his promise we await new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Therefore, beloved, since you await these things, be eager to be found without spot or blemish before him, at peace. And consider the patience of our Lord as salvation. Therefore, beloved, since you are forewarned, be on your guard not to be led into the error of the unprincipled and to fall from your own stability.
But grow in grace
And in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are. When I was with them I protected them in your name that you gave me, and I guarded them, and none of them was lost except the son of destruction, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you. I speak this in the world so that they may share my joy completely. I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the worldj but that you keep them from the evil one. They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Consecrate them in the truth.
