FOR MORE THAN 152 YEARS, Notre Dame Preparatory School has stood as a living testament to the vision and courage of the School Sisters of Notre Dame—women who dared to believe that the education of girls could transform the world. Their charism, rooted in faith, unity, and the power of learning, continues to shape the heart of our community and inspire all that we do.

Blessed Theresa of Jesus Gerhardinger, the foundress of the SSNDs, once reflected, “All the works of God proceed slowly and in pain, but then their roots are the sturdier and their flowering the lovelier.” Her wisdom reminds us to trust in God’s guiding hand and dare to move forward with courage and purpose. This year’s theme, Trust and Dare, embodies that spirit—an invitation to balance faith with boldness, reflection with action, and tradition with vision.

It is my privilege to share with you this year’s Donor Impact Report—a celebration of everything we accomplished together in a remarkable year of Living the Mission. Guided by our core values of academic excellence, faith, leadership, and service, our community once again demonstrated what is possible when generosity and purpose come together.

Thanks to the extraordinary commitment of our parents, alumnae, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends, we experienced an exceptional year of philanthropy. Through your belief in our students and in the future of Notre Dame Preparatory School, we raised more than $820,000 for The Fund for Notre Dame Prep and over $2.2 million in total giving. These numbers are far more than milestones— they represent lives enriched, opportunities expanded, and a mission strengthened for generations to come.

Your support this year helped us grow vital programs, including the transformative Rollins–Luetkemeyer Program, which is already broadening academic pathways and preparing our students for lives of purpose and impact. My junior Humanities class, which combined world religions and English, completely transformed the way I approach learning. We explored religious traditions from around the world, studying their unique practices, beliefs, and stories, and also looked at how they connect and influence each other. ISABELLA ALBERT ’27, STUDENT COUNCIL VICE PRESIDENT

I have grown so much in my faith, especially during my junior year. Retreat gave me the space to pray, reflect, and talk to God on a deeper level through both prayer and meditation. But if you asked me what has sparked my growth the most, it would definitely be school liturgy. School liturgy is one of my favorite parts of NDP. I feel close to God there—the music moves me, and it gives me a chance to spread my light throughout the room.

When I started at NDP as a new graduate of a Catholic women’s college, I was excited to contribute to the important work of educating girls in the hopes of offering my students the same empowerment I experienced. Thanks to a supporting and caring community, NDP quickly became much more than a place of employment and has been my professional home for over 10 years. I am proud to be part of a school that values rigorous academics while encouraging curiosity and compassion and fostering faithful leaders dedicated to the pursuit of justice. The lacrosse team here has been a huge passion of mine. After making the team my freshman year, I witnessed a cohesive community and bond through all grade levels. I was pushed and supported through difficult moments and felt what it was like to overcome adversity, being so young on the team. As I progressed through the years, I shared that sisterhood and encouragement I felt. Making team captain my junior year was one of the most surreal and incredible experiences of my life, and leading a team of such talented and unique girls was so incredible. The lacrosse team encompasses what it is to be an NDP girl, and I feel so blessed to be a part of it.

The best part about being an NDP student is the sense of sisterhood and community. From the moment I first stepped on campus with my blue dress and saddles, I was immediately connected to the generations of Blazers before me and will be connected to the generations after me. I look forward to going to school every day knowing that when I walk around the halls teachers know my name, I have 818 current NDP sisters that are here to cheer me on, and countless opportunities for me to obtain. The relationships I have built so far are incredibly strong and I am forever grateful and blessed to be part of a community like NDP. Notre Dame Prep is and always will be my second home; a place that has taught me to grow spiritually and intellectually.

Every day in our Language classes we are addressing how to live the mission at NDP and beyond. We explore global issues, topics, and perspectives, and we look for ways to live the Gospel as we interact with others. BlazerDash 2024

On September 29, 2024, Notre Dame Prep hosted its 27th annual Blazer Dash Scholarship Run, a beloved tradition that brings together the entire NDP community in celebration, remembrance, and purpose. More than 1,200 participants, as well as nearly 60 dedicated volunteers and event sponsors, helped raise over $90,000 to support scholarships for current and future Blazers.

The event is always especially meaningful, as our community participates to honor the lives and legacies of NDP students and alumnae gone too soon. As a senior at NDP, I’ve not only been given the chance to grow, learn, and succeed, but I’ve also been blessed with lasting connections and a sisterhood that will continue to guide me throughout my life. NDP has pushed me beyond my comfort zone, allowing me to serve as Class Vice President, president of Wagmore Club, a member of the Refugee Youth Project, and a student-athlete on both the Varsity Volleyball and Golf teams. Being here with the students each day is the best part of my job. Witnessing their growth from 6th grade into their high school years in real time is so rewarding.

I really felt spiritually called to be at NDP. When I started here in 2008, I just had a gut feeling that this is where I was supposed to be. I truly felt it was the Holy Spirit, calling me to be here. This is my second home. I feel so welcomed here as part of this community.

After all these years, I’m still here and I’m still having fun. I continue to learn and grow with the girls. Here at NDP—more than anywhere else I have ever taught—I can use my creativity to the fullest. I am given the flexibility and freedom to tailor my lessons to respond to and meet my students’ needs in this ever-evolving educational space.

I have grown significantly in my faith during my time at NDP. One of the most meaningful moments on my spiritual journey was Junior Retreat. Being gathered with my sisters in a space where everyone felt safe to be open and vulnerable

allowed me to see people in a new light. I learned about the hopes, challenges, and dreams of classmates I hadn’t known well before. The retreat also gave me rare, quiet moments to reflect, pray, and truly sit with myself—helping me deepen both my faith and my sense of connection to our community.
