On August 19th, the Notre Dame Sisters celebrated their volunteers. Over 70 volunteers participated in Mass by Father Philip Rauth and the blessing of the additions to our Grotto. The stones in front of the Grotto represent the Notre Dame Sisters of the Omaha Province from 1910 to present day and into the future. Please stop by to see this goregous area!

One of the main ministries of the Notre Dame Sisters is Notre Dame Housing. Notre Dame Housing provides service-enriched affordable housing by fostering independence and dignity to the elderly. The average age of a Notre Dame Housing senior is 75 with an income of $11,540. 2017-18 Key Successes • Served 4,702 lunches through Eastern Nebraska Office On Aging Senior Lunch Program • Distributed 17,908 lbs. of food via the Community Food Pantry to food insecure seniors • Provided $211,010 in housing assistance to low-to-moderate income seniors • Assisted seniors with over 10,000 services such as dental checks, on-site health checks, grief counseling, and much more Notre Dame Housing is proud to add these organizations to their long list of partners. • Creighton School of Dentistry • North Omaha Area Health Together we will continue to offer our seniors the latest in elderly options. We look forward to becoming the subject matter experts in the field of elderly housing and care .
