2018 at a Glance

This year we were blessed to reach $1.72M between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018 in income. It is truly a team effort which drives us to be able to reach this level of giving. Income comes from a variety of sources including salaries from Sisters who are employed, Social Security and retirement benefits from Sisters who are retired, charitable contributions from donors, and earnings on our savings. The general operating income is down from last year’s income of $1.875M. The Sisters’ salaries, ministries (NDH, Safe Homes, Human Trafficking), and legacy portions of our income saw sharp decreases which were partially offset by increases in donations, retirement benefits, and interest on savings.

We are proud that we support our ministries such as the Coalition on Human Trafficking, Safe Homes, Notre Dame Housing, and the Sisters’ Individual Ministries with 36% of our total income. Living and medical are a continued rising expense at 30% of our income.
