BESAME MUCHO COVER HAUNTED HOUSE NAVY BAND PERFORMANCE

Lisette covered Lisa Ono’s version of “BesameMucho”whichisagreatwayto celebrateHispanicHeritageMonth! She chose this song to connect back with Spanish, her first language, and ended up gaining some confidence through recording the song from trying new thingslikeaddingharmonies.

It’s time for another Excelsior Haunted House! Elementary,middle,andhighschool youth all came together to create some scary sound effects to add to the treasure hunting theme, including screams, creepy voicelines,andchanting. TorchClubyouth ran the audio and triggered the sounds duringeachrun.

TheNavy’srockband,“TheDestroyers”cameto perform for the Excelsior youth! They played classic rock and pop punk songs that had the youth up and dancing with them. They also heldaQ&Awithsometeensaboutpickingupa new instrument and getting into music professionally.
