More Beats! We’ve continued creating and developing new beats at the Franklin Notes for Notes studio, giving our youth more opportunities to experiment with different sounds, genres, and production techniques. These beats showcase the creativity and growth of our young producers and provide a foundation for future projects.

Franklin DnD Podcast Ep. 1 Khalil, Ethan, CJ, and Thomas are working together on their first interactive DND podcast episode at the Franklin studio. The project combines tabletop storytelling and character-driven gameplay with original music created by the youth to help bring their fantasy world to life.

“La ancla en la habitacion” is an original song written by our youth artist Hailey. This project is especially exciting because the entire song is performed in Spanish, giving Hailey an opportunity to explore songwriting and musical expression in a different language.

Million Dollar Baby Remix Jazaria and Ethan created their own open verse challenge for “Million Dollar Baby,” giving them a chance to put their unique creative spin on the track. The project showcases their songwriting, vocal performance, and ability to build off an existing song while developing their own style. It also gives other youth an opportunity to join the challenge and add their own verses.

GROWING INTO AN ARTIST Hailey has become one of the most consistent artists at the Franklin studio, with four released tracks making her the current leader in songs released. Her growth as a songwriter, vocalist, and recording artist has been evident with each new project. During Latin Heritage Month, Hailey has also challenged herself to explore her musical identity beyond Spanish-language tracks, demonstrating her versatility and continued development as an artist.

MULTI-INTRUMENTALISTS Jazaria is already looking ahead to next year’s Steak and Burger fundraiser, putting in the work now to prepare for a future performance. She has been dedicating significant time to developing her skills on both guitar and bass, with the goal of performing Kansas’ “Carry On Wayward Son” from beginning to end. Her commitment to learning such a challenging song highlights her growing musicianship and determination to continue pushing herself as an artist.
