WELCOME WEEK The youth finally arrived back at the center after a lojng period of professional development, and we were so excited to see them! We did activities to help them understand how to get from activity to activity, and we went over the goals that we have for Notes for Notes this year!s
DAVIS AEROSPACE During our professional development, we allowed the high school Davis Aerospace high school to use the facility while their high school was being built. With this connection, discussions have begun about bringing in youth from 6:30 to 8 pm for additional programming time. These sessions would be focused on older youth and artist development.
TEENHYPE VISIT The Say Detroit team visited the teenhype facilities to get a better understanding of how other youth focused community centers run. We were able to get some insight into how they run their arts programming, and established a connection to where Notes for Notes can be advertised withing their facility
