BROTHER AND SISTER MASHUP Franklin and Gabrielle have learned many songs on the piano over the last couple of years. What better way to celebrate this than creating a mashup of some of their favorites?!

SOUND IN MOVIES Music, and sound effects (foley) make up a huge part of many of our favorite movies. Ian and other youth at the BGC explored the art of recording for film and even created their own version of a scene from the movie Pirates of the Carribean, with voices and sound effects!

FROM LA TO SB

Hector’s first ever single is completed and close to releasing! To prepare for its launch, Hector learns how to create album artwork, and other music-business skills such as marketing and promoting.

Mikah and Mikayla began their journey at Notes for Notes last summer during the first ever Hire LA program. After working digitally for the past year, the two drove all the way up to the Santa Barbara West studio to record vocals for their upcoming EP’S!

THE MONTH OF ALBUM ARTWORK Gabrielle and Franklin have been working non-stop on their projects and their tracks are almost ready for release. This month, they created artwork that they felt communicated the message and idea of their respective songs.
