West side youth were ecstatic to help with the Les Paul project we have been working on for a while! They had a blast learning how to use different percussion instruments as well as get in the booth withtheirfriendsforharmoniesandgroupclaps!
4thgraderJa’mirisanaturalwhenitcomestofeeling rhythm. He caught on fast to playing with a metronome and tracked some live drums for our Les Paulproject!
NORTH-STAR NARRATIVE
Never underestimate how perceptive our youth are! The 3-5th class here on west side have been taking practice runs for the North Star Narrative podcast. They are finding their flow on the microphone and are getting comfortable speaking theirmindinfrontoftheirpeers!
808’S AND BACKACHES
West side went hard for halloween. We had a great time dressing up in our costumes and performing in the booth as ourcharacters.Notonlydidtheyouthget candy bags heavier than them, the went home with great memories of a musical halloween!
Teens Alex and Satiza have been more than influential at the N4N studio on the Westside. Not only have they made song aftersong,theyhelpedspearheadtheLes Paul project! They have since performed it at a club board meeting and got a standingovation!
