EP
Some of the youth at the BGC had the opportunity to create a christmas EP. The process behind this project was allowing them to fully showcase and express their love for the Christmas Holiday. Each song the youth went into the booth and freestyled their parts. They did an amazing job and we hope you allenjoytheprojectthattheyaresoproudof.
I had the opportunity to go to Alcy Elementary and do some outreach to get the youth excited about music and music production.Duringthe outreach we talked about music, how music is made, and coming to the studio. We also worked on a school theme song to get the youth hyped up for the New Year. N4N will eventually become apart of their team to help with weekly creative programs. Christmas Music Discovery Father Son Duo Jade’s Piano Lesson
What better way to celebrate the holidays than to decorate the studio with small Christmas Trees. During this time we got a chance to do some music discovery. We played a variety of Christmas songs ranging from Hiphop, r and b, to Hispanic. This gave them a chance to experience music from different genres and cultures.
Jayden enjoys so one on one time with his dad. Who has been playing the drums for nearly 10 years. Jayden had no clue how talented his father was until he began playing the drums. Jayden began taking drumsalotmoreseriousbecausehewasn’t atobejustlikehisdad.
Jade is starting to become a natural with piano. So far she has mastered identifying each set of black keys, and identifying whole notes, half notes, and quarter notes. Pretty soon she will be ready to showcaseherskillsinfrontofherpeers.
