SUMMER KICK-OFF
In the spirit of summer, the BGC threw a big kick-off party. This party included both the Preston Taylor and Andrew Jackson Clubs. Notes For Notes provided music, as only they can do, which eventually turned into dancing and singing along to ensure a fun time at the get together. Thankfully the weather decided to hold off on rainingsotherewasmoretimeforpartying.
FL STUDIO HEAVY
FL Studio is not the main DAW across the board but has been relied on heavily by the next generation in music production. In this picture you can see TJ working on a beat that he plans to release in the near future. He has released many beats already as well as a project on Soundcloud that has been doing very well pulling in a solid number of views. Safe to say he has found his passion and he is comfortable with his DAW of choice.
DRUMMER BOY
InthisphotoyoucanseeKristopherplaying the drums. Before this picture was taken there wasn't much of an indication that he even liked the drums. Much to our surprise he had already came up with a drum beat that he proceeded to share and play with confidence. We are very excited for him to beinterestedindrummingandcomingback intothestudiotosharenewideas.
The front room of the South Nashville Studio has been known to be used as a jamroom and lesson room, but as you can see in this photo members are working together to discover and produce new music. Although this may not be the main set up in the main production room, membersarefindingit’sagreat roomtolockinandcreate.
FEEL THE BASS
Eva is a loyal member of the South Studio. Making sure every chance she gets to come in, hangout, and give her opinion on music that’s madeinthestudio.Aswellasworkingonsome of her own music, she is very interested in 808s and the way they make the speakers shake.
