I joined a few of our youth for an impromptu jam session on the East Nashville studio stage, filled with creative energy. The song of choice was “Bad To The Bone” a Thurgood classic that these youth have no Ideaabout.
MASON FREESTYLE
● During a special visit from Michael Francis’ band, one of our talented youth, Mason, jumped into an impromptu freestyle session alongside the band’s pianist and drummer. Watching him confidently deliver bars while the musicians played live behind him was a reminder of the magic that happens when young artists are given space to shine and collaborate with seasoned pros.

● Here, Sophia took full control of a standalone session with a youth from the East Park Community Center. From setting up the mics to running the DAW and guiding the recording process, she demonstrated poise, leadership, and technical know-how.

● Graduation season always brings moments of pride and celebration, and this one was no exception. I caught this snapshot with Sophia and her friend Taylor after they graduated from Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet High School. Both have been regulars in our East Nashville studio, and watching them reach this milestone was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

Another powerful graduation moment — our intern La’Promise officially wrapped up her high school career at James Lawson High School. She's been a consistent leader and positive force in the studio, and her growth over the past year has been inspiring. Seeing her cross that stage and celebrate this huge achievement filled all of us with pride. La’Promise represents everything N4N stands for: talent, growth, community, and the power of music to shapefutures.
