UNIQUE YOUTH
TACO BELL COMMUNITY GRANT BIRDS OF A FEATHER LIVE!
Before making the cover to Birds of a Feather, we wanted to make sure we understood the song in a deep way. Everyone picked and instrument and we focused on playing in time with each other and making sure we were listening!
Taco Bell partnered with the Detroit studio to make a 3 part podcast series with local creatives about being an artist in Detroit! This was hosted by the youth and we had a great time getting a deeper understanding of the creative community in the city.
BIRDS OF A FEATHER SUMMER IS COMING
The younger youth in the Detroit studio have been spending a lot of time learning how to play Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish on instruments, so we decided to make a cover of the song. The youth helped with some of the production and each got to sing their favorite part of the song!
Malaya, Lailani, and Cierra were discussing what their favorite and least favorite parts about summer were, so we decided to turn it into a song! We worked together to write out a chorus, and then each person got a chance to freestyle their own verse.
OVERCAST
Omar has been continuously putting in work on ableton in the Detroit studio. Here is one of his tracks he made on a rainy day called Overcast!
