TRACKING DRUMS
Ava and Harmonie were interested in recording live instruments, so we decided to try to record some drums on a song! We learned about how different microphone placements effect the overall sound of thedrumsand
SONIC SPEED FOOD INVASION
The younger youth collaborated with each other on a track where everyone rapped from the perspective of a different sonic character. Marcel came up with the sample for the beat and was consistently helping other youth come up with different bars on thesong.
Harmonie and Ava made a song about an evil chicken nugget that steals people’s food. We had a really fun time coming up with the lyrics to this song and even got to recordsomedrumsforthefirsttime!
Omar has become the resident producer here at the Detroit studio. He has been making a lot of different beats since he’s been here but this is his first upload entitled“SpaceExploration”.Takealisten!
