Getting Comfortable
Keygan has been gone for a while, but when he returned all he wanted to do was make some hits!
Working with other fellow youth such as Jazaria, Keygan has got back on the mic! We are currently working on a cover of 2055 by Sleepy Hallow, one of his facorite artists, and will have it fully finished by theendofthismonth!
Mic Technique
With the summer comes a whole new batch of youth. Pictured above is Jade with one of these fellow youth learning how to use certain microphone techniques on a Cajon! Through repetition, Jade now knows how to properly mic a cajon, guitar amp, and voice! We plan on collecting a bunch of sounds and repurposing themforasongweareworkingon!

PicturedaboveisJohn(JD)andhelovesthe beatles, singing, and guitar. JD is a very talented youth who can sing and play very well at the same time. Together through rehearsals, we have been practicing over and over for the upcoming fundraiser “Steak&Burger”.
Steak & Burger Podcasting
As previously mentioned, Steak & Burger is a very important event for the Boys and Girls Club. A lot of time is spent preparing the youth for the performance. Jade (pictured above) will be playing with another youth K’ci. Several other youth will be participating as well, and it is important thattheyarepreparedproperly!
At the Franklin studio, we have begun to start doing podcasts more frequently. Since the youth love to podcast, we find ways to keep it topical. Pictured above is Jazaria and a new youthdiscussingtheirfavoritetracks,listening tothosetracksinbetweenconversations.Soon, wewillhaveafullyfleshedoutpodcast!
