K-POP ORIGINAL “HEART EYES”

TheSummerTalentShowcasewasahitthisyearwith four performances and art displays from Art Club, Sewing Club, and Crochet Club! Sophia and Sabrina performedasongfromK-PopDemonHunters,Winnie played a classical piano piece, Brian played drums to “Toxic” by Boywithuke, and Jayden and Chloe wrote andsangtheirownlyricstoanacousticsong.

K-PopClubhadagreattimethissummergetting the K-Pop Idol experience. They wrote their original song “Heart Eyes” and recorded it in the vocal booth, resulting in this adorable love anthem. Then, each artist took a headshot that we turned into Idol photo cards, which they decoratedwithstickersandpens.

Daniel has always been into beat-making and rapping, making his own beats on SoundTrap and then creating his own rhymestorecordoverthem.Sinceentering middle school this Summer, he’s been dedicatingmoretimetotheseprojects.

JONATHAN’S JAM SESSIONS

Jonathan continues to work on guitar and drumsandhasbeeninvitingothermembers to jam with him! He’s been practicing with his bandmate Jeremiah and new N4N producer Tarik. Above, Alexis joins Jonathan and Tarik on “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.

Crochet Club becomes more advanced by picking up new techniques and imagining the possibilities! Our crocheters learned how to change colors and work in both square and circle shapes. Shiyu used her new knowledge tomakeacake,completewithalitcandle.
