UNIQUE YOUTH
BASICS OF RECORDING PIANO X N4N JAM SESSION
On the first Friday of every month, Mr. Silva and I run a jam session for the youth. As of right now we are learning the basics of playing different instruments together with music games. Eventually we are going to try to get the youth to learn to play songs together. We had a great time with the first one and everyone is looking forward to learning and improving with each session!
Elon has been showing interest in production, specifically recording. Together, we were able to learn about how to mic the individual drums and cymbals of the drum set, and how the sound changes depending on how close or how far the mic is from the instrument. We used the instruments we recorded to make our own beat.
ST PAUL X DETROIT
There has been some collaboration brewing between the twin cities and Detroit! Lahagg and T Rob came together to create on a verse to create a remix of She Wanna Run by St. Paul artist Ace.
EXCLUSIVE
Tyriq (artist name Lahagg) has been putting in some serious work in the Detroit N4N studio. He always comes with new verses written and loves helping others make their ideas come to fruition. Here is his first N4N upload “Exclusive”.
EP IN THE WORKS
Skylar and Omar have been putting in a lot of work on beats and are starting to come up with their own lyrics. They haven’t ever recorded vocals before this so we have been having a lot of fun figuring out how to use our voices and how to approach verses.
