Students worked to recreate the Beatles song “Come Together” as their first project of the sememster. Our MMP students recreated the famous album cover of “Abbey Road” while also shooting & editing interviews as well as a music video.
Genre Project #2: Stevie W. Medely Our second genre project is a combination of two different Stevie Wonder songs, “As” & “I live for the city”. Students learned about the recording process that went into recording “Songs in the key of life”.
First Live Performance! Our students had the opportunity to perform their cover song(s) at Penn Griffins annual “February 11th Showcase” which honors the historic Penn High School students who were the first group in the nation to stage a sit in protest during segregation in the 1960's.
