Building a theremin

Ayumi on the skins

The 4th graders wanted to do something for the holidays and I presented them with the idea of building speakers for their family as a Christmas gift!

Vick was in the studio and they were looking for something to do so I recommended we build a theremin! A theremin works by creating an electromagnetic field around two antennae.

One controls pitch and the other volume.
