Our annual Christmas party and showcasecommencedonthelastday of camp before Winter break. Our events consists of Christmas treats, gift exchanges, holiday crafts and of course,performancesfromouryouth. Ouryoungeryouthhadatoughact to follow once the teens got off the stage, but they showed and proved. Five of our girls cosplayed as “The Jackson” 5, with a special performance of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” which they rehearsedtwoweeksstraightfor.
CLUB DIRECTOR LOVE
Rightbeforethefunbegan,wegota special visit from our Club Director, Mr. Will, who is a DJ and self proclaimed Hip-Hop head. He joined twoofourteenmemberstoperform a karaoke version of “Killing Me Softly”bytheFugees.
