Grammy nominated hip hop/soul group, Tank & The Bangas were in town for a special performance with the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra. N4N Chicago members & band 4’N’Fire had the opportunity to sit in at the band’s dress rehearsal prior to the show that evening. When the hustle and bustle of younger youth programming comes to an end on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4’N’Fire occupies the space for instrument lessons and band rehearsals. As per her website, “Julie Sévilla Fraysse is one of the most valuable cellists in the world and a promising talent into the young generation of classical music artists.” Our studio had the pleasure of welcoming the French cellist to our studio for a special performance. Youth made play bow ties out of felt to go around their necks for the sophisticated occasion. Sevilla performed many familiar Disney songs for the youth, which they enjoyed. Click the title for more.

CBCP Guitar Class
Chi (Shy) Girls Sing meets every Monday & Wednesday for an hour & 15 minutes. This program is all about working together to overcome the fear & anxiety that may come with using your voice to sing, be it in a recording or live setting. As we work towards gaining more confidence in our voices each time we meet, we always start our sessions with warm-ups. Click the title for more.
On Tuesdays & Thursdays while the girls are singing with TJ, the boys are writing and producing with Darius. The program is for boys who want to develop the craft in both beat-making and songwriting. Let’s just say that Tuesdays & Thursdays get busy in the studio! Tues & Thurs early afternoons are reserved for CBCP HS guitar class. Our studio has been fortunate enough to foster a relationship with Chicago Bulls College Prep’s music teacher over the years.
